A diplomatic system for Romecraft with war, treaties, and voting!

Description

Romecraft Diplomacy

Overview
Romecraft Diplomacy introduces a focused and strategic diplomacy system centered around the Western Roman Empire and the Byzantine Empire. Engage in negotiations, declare war, sign treaties, and influence your faction’s standing through a straightforward command interface.

Current Development & Future Plans

  • Early Stages: The mod is still under active development.
  • GUI Integration: Future updates will introduce an intuitive on-screen menu to replace many command-based actions.
  • Expanded Factions: Additional nations are planned, letting players create or manage up to four unique factions—beyond just the Roman Empires.
  • Advanced Reputation: Over time, the reputation system will evolve to drive alliances, conflicts, and diplomatic outcomes more dynamically.

Quick Access

Press ‘G’ to open the Diplomacy Menu at any point, giving you quick control over every diplomatic feature—no extensive command memorization required.

Features

Dynamic Diplomacy System
Factions transition through Peace, Tension, Imminent War, and Full-Scale War. Every diplomatic step you take affects how other factions view and respond to you.

Reputation System (Work in Progress)
Although not yet fully implemented, reputation will soon play a pivotal role—actions like public condemnations will lower a faction's standing, while positive deeds like trade agreements will boost relations.

Law Proposals & Voting
Players can propose and vote on new laws, adding political depth to the power struggles and negotiations.
