Rocket Squids introduces blundering, balletic megamolluscs for your amusement.

Rocket Squids are squids' bigger, fire-breathing counterparts, which have a tendency to blast into the air at random. They have some fairly complex behaviour and secret interactions. You are encouraged to explore and discover these for yourself, but if you just want to know things, the wiki provides information in sections of increasing explicitness. The aim is to build more interactions into the mod over time.

Installation

In Minecraft version 1.20.1 and beyond, Rocket Squids now has Geckolib as a required dependency.

For Pack Developers

Feel free to include Rocket Squids in your modpack and let me know your success stories!

Rocket Squids has world generation that places conches and statues in the world; without these the mod loses a lot of its entertainment value.

Support

Work is underway to bring Rocket Squids to the latest versions of Minecraft! I'm currently updating to NeoForge 1.21.11, while providing bug fixes for Forge 1.20.1, NeoForge 1.20.6 and NeoForge 1.21.1 while the mod is in a beta stage. Once I reach 26.1, any new features will be for 26.1 and I will only be providing bug fixes for 1.21.1.
