What's new

  • Rick Prime Projectile Force: A Heart Engine-powered implant that suspends incoming physical projectiles, including arrows, crossbow fireworks, and supported modded projectiles. Players can manually collect compatible ammunition or launch suspended shots back toward enemies. Energy beams cannot be collected. Default capacity: 3200 Energy, costing 100 per captured projectile, with a full 30-second recharge after depletion. Automatic protection is enabled by default, with configurable manual activation. Occupies the shared Shield Slot and cannot be installed alongside Rick Shield or Evil Morty Shield. Does not require either shield to craft or operate, and does not block melee attacks.

  • Adult Sympathid: A large alien with 500 HP by default, animated crab-like walking, tongue melee attacks, retreating and pouncing behavior. Wild adults attack mobs while prioritizing players. At low health, they climb walls and ceilings, keep their distance, and spit large 3D dripping acid projectiles that apply Poison and Weakness. Adults do not spawn naturally; they appear through spawn eggs or implanted-host emergence.

  • Baby Sympathid: A tiny creature with 25 HP by default, roughly half the adult’s movement speed, and no fall damage. Rarely spawns on End chorus flowers, with a default chance of one in 64 eligible flowers. Flees from approaching players who watch it, observes from a distance, and chases and bites when their backs are turned. Roams and climbs walls and ceilings.

  • Sympathid animations and sounds: Animated walking, joints, and front-paw rubbing every 10 seconds. Idle sounds play every five seconds, with higher-pitched versions for babies. Adults also have melee, hurt, and acid-firing sounds. Health, damage, and sound volume are configurable.

  • Sympathid Containers: Capture babies with right-click, release them by right-clicking a block, and place containers as blocks with Shift + right-click. Placed containers face the player’s viewing direction. Right-click a placed filled container to release the baby; Shift + right-click picks it up with its data. Capture and release preserve health, ownership, names, immortality, and other saved creature data. Filled containers show actual creature statistics and taming status.

  • Sympathid Insertion Gun: Hold a filled container in the offhand and the gun in the main hand, then Shift + right-click to load it. Right-click implants yourself; left-click a living mob or another player implants them. Shift + right-click unloads the mounted container. Includes a custom injection animation, 3D model, colored Shift controls tooltip, and crafting recipe using vanilla and Rick’s Stuff components.

  • Sympathid Delusions and Growth: While implanted, the creature disguises danger with friendly-looking diamond gifts, full-looking health and hunger, and disguised damage/knockback feedback. Damage remains real. The affected player cannot see their own regeneration anatomy, but other players still can. After a configurable duration—10 minutes by default—the baby emerges as an adult, retaining ownership and immortality.

  • Zero Empathy: Emergence permanently unlocks a trait, rather than permanently activating its damage bonus. Being attacked activates +20% damage for three minutes, followed by a one-minute cooldown by default. Death or Second Life increases the bonus by five percentage points, up to 40%. Includes a timed HUD and aggressive red “KILL HIM” screen effect. Regeneration repeats this effect only when the timed buff is already active and the revive raises its bonus toward the cap. The screen effect can be disabled separately. Damage values and timings are configurable. /ricksaddon restoreempathy removes the trait, bonus, and associated effects.

  • Sympathid Companions: Creative-only taming and immortality items. Tamed babies retain ownership after capture, release, and growth into adults. Normal chat orders include “Sit,” “To me,” “Up,” “Stop,” and “Kill Name” for players or named mobs. Adults additionally support “Ranged” and “Melee” stances. Standing companions defend their owner and attack enemies their owner hits. Babies only pursue targeted players when those players turn their backs.

  • Configuration and commands: Individual settings to fully disable addon items, broader allowed configuration values, Sympathid statistics and implantation duration, and expanded Energy-refill, cooldown, and HUD command support.
