## [1.1.5] — 2026-06-25

### Progress, advancements & commands
- **Advancements** — meet each island NPC (Vertin, Sonetto, Matilda, Druvis, Carbunclew) and reach proud milestones (claim a Timekeeper Suitcase, bear the Dragon Hand, discover half / all of the Tome, …).
- **Tome of the Eon shows a completion bar** counting the items you've obtained and the NPCs you've met.
- **Suitcase Tablet is sealed outside the island** until your Tome reaches 80% completion.
- **Commands moved under `/reverseeon`** — `/reverseeon aura …`, plus a new `/reverseeon install skip` (OP) to finish a tablet install instantly.

### Suitcase Tablet & terminal
- **Search bar + sort** (A-Z, count, mod, type) in the terminal, with **stable item positions** so withdrawing exact amounts no longer shuffles the grid.
- **Holding Shift** now also shows each island NPC's spawn-egg icon over their head and over their walk zone (alongside the name), and the box/zone outlines.
- Opening the Computer Suitcase via the tablet from too far away is now refused.
- Black/violet UI with a scrollbar (previous update), now with these controls.

### Fixes & polish
- **Fixed: ordinary thunderstorms no longer trigger the Storm's flashing vignette** (only the real Storm does).
- **Animated Soul Hourglass** — its icon cycles through four frames once per second.
- **Island fishing** can now (very rarely) hook one of the island keys.
- **Island NPCs hold still** while you talk to them / open their menu instead of wandering off.
- **Creative tab icon** is now the Timekeeper Suitcase (Tome still listed first).
- **Fixed: the Computer Suitcase boot sound no longer stacks** when reopened.

### Island, items & NPCs
- **Suitcase Tablet UI redesigned** — a cleaner black-and-violet theme, fixed overlapping elements, a scrollbar that shows how far you've scrolled, and a proper lore tooltip. The install "Add Time" button was removed (it just installs over time now).
- **Masked Follower Thrall has big, brutish arms.**
- **Carbunclew is a pet, not an NPC** — it's no longer listed in the Suitcase Tablet's NPC summon/zone tabs.
- **Tome of the Eon** — items you've never obtained are dimmed more strongly so owned vs. unowned reads at a glance.
- **Hofmann effect tuned** — a single glowing knot now orbits you (instead of four), and when the storm ends it dissolves in a small burst.
- **Fixed: teleporting off a boat is no longer fatal** — the Located Suitcase (and every island exit) now dismounts you first, so you don't get yanked back / dropped to your death.
- **Fixed: double chests no longer double-count** in the Suitcase Tablet terminal — both halves of a double chest share one inventory, so they're now scanned once.
- **Suitcase Tablet: open the Computer** — the terminal has an "⌂ Computer" button that opens the bound Computer Suitcase's own screen.
- **Suitcase Tablet: see your network** — hold the tablet and hold Shift to outline every linked box (teal) and NPC walk zone in the world; linking a box now flashes its outline. Marking a zone still previews live.
- **Computer Suitcase: NPC controls** — new toggles for **NPC CHAT** (silence island NPC dialogue) and **NPC CALM** (island NPCs won't fight back).
- **Fixed: Dimension Portal is now per-dimension** — each dimension keeps its own single portal anchor instead of everything sharing one Overworld slot. Placing/using a portal saves its spot in that dimension, and leaving the island returns you to the portal in the dimension you came from (Overworld, Nether, etc.) rather than always the Overworld. A portal can no longer be placed or anchored inside the island dimension.
- **New item: Suitcase Tablet** — a handheld terminal for the island's storage and NPCs. Right-click an unlocked Computer Suitcase to install it (10 min, with an Add Time button to speed it up), then right-click boxes to link them to the network. Open it to:
  - **Terminal** — browse every linked box at once, left-click a network item to withdraw a stack (right-click for one), and click a slot in your own inventory to deposit it. Capacity starts at 50 boxes, raised with **Suitcase Master Cards** in the Computer (+50 each, up to 1000).
  - **NPCs** — call any island NPC (Vertin, Sonetto, Matilda, Druvis, Carbunclew) straight to you.
  - **Zones** — assign an NPC a walk area by marking two corners in the world; that NPC then keeps its wandering inside the box (or Clear it to roam freely again).
- **Storm effects are tidier** — the storm's bundled debuffs no longer clutter the inventory effect panel; only the Storm Syndrome icon shows there now, matching the HUD.
- **Suitcase Tablet polish** — assigned NPC walk zones are now drawn in the world (colour-coded per NPC) whenever you hold the tablet, plus a live wireframe while you mark corners; NPC summoning has a cooldown; and the tablet now has a crafting recipe (shown in the Tome).
- **New config & game rules for the Suitcase Tablet** — a `[suitcase]` config block (default/max box cap, cap per card, install minutes, Add Time seconds, summon cooldown) and game rules `reverseeonTabletSummon` (allow NPC summoning) and `reverseeonNpcWalkZones` (enforce walk zones).
- **Carbunclew feels alive** — it now hops as it walks, its eyes glance toward whatever it's looking at, and it blinks every few seconds.
- **Island spawn rules** — monsters and flies no longer spawn naturally on the island, but you can still bring them in yourself (spawn eggs, spell summons, etc.).
- **Fish for an hourglass** — fishing within 20 blocks of the island wheel has a very small chance to also reel in a Soul Hourglass, doubled while The Storm rages.
- **The Timekeeper Suitcase block sounds new** — a wooden dig with a heavy lodestone-like "place", for that magical-suitcase feel.
- **Hofmann Knot reworked** — right-click during a storm to **activate it (consumed)**; a glowing ring of balance now surrounds you and shields you for the rest of the storm. You no longer have to keep holding it.
- **Druvis can heal you** — stand still, look at Druvis while hurt, and she'll walk over and cast a heal.
- **Co-op hardcore: only the first player gets the free Dimension Portal** — a second player joining no longer receives one.
- **Exiting the island finds a carrier** — if there's no portal block in the Overworld but another player there is holding a Dimension Portal, you surface beside them (random pick if several carry one).
- **New enemy: Masked Follower Thrall** — a weak minion (single short-range spell, wears The Dragon Hand) that spawns in packs of 2–4 alongside every Masked Follower.
- **Vertin's exchange has more trades** — now also Arcanist Shard, Hofmann Knot, and Aura of Arcanum for Storm Fragments.
- **Vertin can safeguard your soul (solo hardcore only)** — right-click Vertin with a Soul Hourglass to entrust it; the next time you would die, Vertin revives you on the island instead. Explained on the Soul Hourglass tooltip and in the Tome of the Eon.
- **Sleeping now works in the island dimension** — sleeping through the night advances the clock in both the Overworld and the island (previously the island's time never moved).
- **The Dimension Portal auto-anchors on death** — if you die carrying a Timekeeper Suitcase, it places itself where you fell (same placement rules as setting it down by hand), consuming one.
- **New item: The Dragon Hand** — a cursed head item worn in the vanilla helmet slot (cannot be placed). While worn it afflicts you with Weakness, Slowness, and Darkness.
- **Island NPCs wander more naturally** — Vertin, Sonetto, Matilda and Druvis roam more often and at varied speeds instead of standing around.

### Arcanist & Aura
- **Two new special aura colours:**
  - **Silver Aura** — reflects 30% of the damage you take back at the attacker.
  - **Obsidian Aura** — grants an Absorption shield and full knockback immunity (tank build).
  - Both join the special-roll pool and can be set with `/aura color silver|obsidian`.
- **Level 100 reward — "Eon Mastery":** reaching max level now grants a permanent **+20% maximum mana** (Iron's Spellbooks) on top of the longer aura, with a celebratory announcement.
- **Matilda's Color Codex is now scrollable** (mouse wheel + scrollbar) so the full colour list stays readable as more colours are added.

### Server controls (commands, gamerules & config)
- **New command `/aura`** (OP only) to manage Arcanist progression:
  - `/aura level set|add|remove <amount> [targets]`
  - `/aura exp set|add|remove <amount> [targets]`
  - `/aura level|exp get [targets]` — read current values. Targets default to you.
- **New gamerules** to tune The Storm and onboarding live:
  - `reverseeonStormDamage` (default true) — set false for an atmospheric storm that deals no HP damage (you still earn Arcanist EXP for weathering it).
  - `reverseeonStormMobs` (default true) — toggle the skeleton/zombie spawns in phases 2-3.
  - `reverseeonStormGriefing` (default **false**) — keep storm lightning visual-only (safe for bases); set true for real, fiery lightning.
  - `reverseeonGiveTomeOnJoin` (default true) — toggle the first-join Tome of the Eon.
- **New config file `reverseeon-common.toml`** — tune the mod's balance without code:
  - `[storm]` — daily spawn chance, Vertin bonus, duration, damage range, phase timings, Arcanist-armor damage reduction.
  - `[arcanist]` — max level, EXP per level, spell-power & mana-regen scaling and caps.
  - `[arcanist.exp_sources]` — EXP amounts for every source (Storm hit, phase scaling, Vertin-hat multiplier, Gold-aura bonus). Plus **new opt-in EXP sources** (default off): kill a mob while your aura is active, kill a Storm-spawned mob, and a bonus for surviving a Storm to its end. (Storms are rarer now, so these give alternate ways to level.)
  - `[aura]` — unlock level, durations (Lv50/75/100), cooldowns, NPC cooldown reductions, move-speed, HP-regen multiplier, Verdant range, special-colour roll chances, and a new **spell-power ramp** (`spellPowerRampMax`, default off) that grows your aura's spell power the longer it stays active.

### Storm
- **The Storm now plays everywhere** — its state is synced to all dimensions, so the storm music starts and the atmosphere shows even while you're on the island.
- **Storm music plays to the end** — once it starts it keeps playing through dimension changes (or anything else you do) instead of being cut off.
- **The Storm spawns much less often** — the random daily chance was lowered (base 10%→4%, Vertin-island bonus 15%→5%).
- **30-minute cooldown between natural Storms** — after one ends, another can't randomly roll for 30 minutes. Manual `/weather storm` and the Critical Point item ignore the cooldown.
- **The Storm no longer strikes lightning.**
- **Gentler storm screen effect** — the violet vignette now breathes slowly and softly instead of flickering harshly.
- **New gamerule `reverseeonDoStormSpawn`** — set `/gamerule reverseeonDoStormSpawn false` to stop random Storms entirely. Summoning by command (`/weather storm`) or the **Critical Point** item still works.
- Removed the stray Totem-of-Undying animation that played when a Hofmann Knot was consumed at a storm's end.

### Onboarding & UI
- **Tome of the Eon redesigned** — the item list is now a grid of item icons: hover to see the name, click to open the full details and crafting recipe. Items you don't own yet are dimmed.
- **Arcanist ID guide** — while holding an Arcanist ID before you've attuned it, a white trail of particles points you toward the nearest Sonetto (it disappears once you've shown her the ID).
- **New config option `onboarding.giveTomeOnJoin`** (`reverseeon-common.toml`, default true) — disable it to stop handing out the Tome of the Eon (and its welcome message) on first join, for packs where you craft the Tome later instead. *(Thanks to the player who suggested this.)*
- **The Tome of the Eon now sits first in the creative tab** (and is the tab's icon), making it clearer that it's the mod's guidebook.
