Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
[1.1.3] — 2026-06-18 ~ 21
Removed
- Removed The Dragon entirely — both The Dragon Hand Mash and Head Mash items, the 3D mask rendering, and the "The Faithful" effect (with its custom damage type). All related models, textures, lang, recipes, and Tome entries are gone.
Stability
- Fixed a dedicated-server crash — the Tome of the Eon item referenced client-only code directly, which crashed servers (
NoClassDefFoundError) when the item loaded. The client code now runs through a guarded client-only handler. - Removed the rain-rendering mixin that overrode Minecraft's weather rendering — it could conflict with Embeddium/Oculus (and other rendering mods) and was a likely cause of crashes / visual glitches. The Storm's reversed rain is unchanged (it already runs via particles).
- Optimized the Vertin Hat aura check (no longer scans every player + their Curios every tick) — smoother on populated servers.
Onboarding
- You now receive the Tome of the Eon on your first join — your starting guide (item checklist, recipes, bestiary), so the mod has a clear entry point.
- Hofmann Knot can now be crafted without Supplementaries — added vanilla recipes (string or lead + Arcanist Powder) alongside the existing rope recipes, so it's no longer locked behind an optional mod.
Content & fixes
- New artifact: Fluttering Toward The Dusk Eternal — worn in a brand-new Curios Euphoria slot:
- Enemies hit by your fire spells lose 20% DEF for 5s.
- When you take damage, your mana regen is boosted 25% for 5s.
- You are immune to burning damage (you still catch fire, you just take no burning damage).
- Added to the Tome of the Eon (checklist + detail page).
- The Storm is now purely visual — all of its on-screen text was removed (no more cinematic titles, phase warnings, or start/end announcements).
- Fixed aura music overlapping with Minecraft's background music and with the Storm's music — only one track plays at a time now.
Storm, NPCs & cosmetics (Jun 19–21)
- The Storm now keeps counting down while you shelter in the island dimension — previously its timer could freeze if no one was in the Overworld, so it never ended; it's now driven by the server clock and finishes on schedule.
- New cosmetic: The Dragon Head — a wearable, placeable head (like a player/zombie head): set it as a block or wear it in your vanilla helmet slot.
- Sonetto, Vertin and Matilda now use the slim (3px) player model and correctly render all skin overlay layers (jacket, sleeves, pants) — not just the hat.
- Carbunclew no longer has its dish/hat awkwardly track and stare at the player.
Compatibility note
- The crash some players saw on the world-select / create-world screen (
Unknown condition type: supplementaries:flag) is not from Reverse Eon — it's a Supplementaries / Moonlight / Sinytra Connector version mismatch in the modpack. Update those mods to resolve it.
