[1.1.1] — 2026-06-14 ~ 15 — The Arcanist Update

📅 Jun 15 — The Arcanist (new system)

Arcanist Levels (1 → 100)

• Earn Arcanist EXP only by enduring The Storm (1 EXP per hit).
• Per level: +1.25% Damage Weight (spell power) (max +125%) and +0.25% mana regen (max +35%).
  • Damage Weight = Iron's Spellbooks spell power — requires that mod to take effect.
• Talk to the new NPC Sonetto to open your Arcanist profile.

Arcanist Aura — press [R]

• Unlocks at Level 50: hold an Arcanist ID and right-click Sonetto to attune it.
• While active: +25% speed, x2 HP regen, a higher jump, a personal aura effect (unique per player), a screen glow that pulses to the music, and aura music.
• Active duration: 2:00 (Lv.50) → 3:00 (Lv.75) → 3:35 (Lv.100).
• Cooldown 7:00, reduced by 1s per level (up to −90s) and −5s while Vertin is on the island.

Sonetto (new NPC)

• Right-click: open your Arcanist profile · with Arcanist Shard: +50 EXP · with Arcanist ID: attune the Aura.

Island Allies (passives that follow you everywhere)

• Vertin on the island → +10% HP regen, −5s aura cooldown, and +15% daily Storm chance (world-wide).
• Sonetto on the island → +10% mana regen.
• Vertin Hat → x2 Arcanist EXP for you and allies within 17 blocks.
• Vertin and Sonetto no longer despawn.

Soul Hourglass

• Right-click the island wheel to open the revive menu: pull back a fallen player, or summon Vertin / Sonetto (one of each).
• The revive menu now shows each option's face (player skin or NPC), so you can see who you're reviving.

Tome of the Eon

• New Arcanist tab; Sonetto added to the Bestiary.
• Live Arcanist panel on page 1 (level, EXP, bonuses, active-passive icons — hover for details).
• New yellow/gray theme; recipes show the Arcanist Powder variant.
• Item lore updated to match current behavior.

Visitor Log

• Now a terminal-style UI screen (VISITOR LOG button in the Computer Suitcase) instead of chat spam.

Fixes

• Aura music never overlaps Storm music.
• island_dim background music disabled (being reworked).
• Fixed a double-event bug (storm / EXP / votes processed twice).
• Island-reset vote now requires 70% of online players (a lone voter can no longer wipe a shared island).

📅 Jun 14 — Quality of Life

• Suitcase Computer — Exit: choose your destination — Spawn or your Suitcase/Portal anchor. UI rearranged so nothing overlaps.
• Fixed losing health every time you left the island (no longer drop to 8 HP).
• Fixed EXIT: SUITCASE always sending you to spawn instead of your portal.
• Vertin's Exchange trade screen redesigned.
• Vertin now visibly holds the Dimension Portal in its left hand.
• The Dragon renders as a proper 3D mask when worn, with the correct inventory icon.
