The Renewed Eras of Arda Addon runs alongside Mevans' Lord of the Rings Renewed Mod, and adds the First and Second Ages of Tolkien's writings to the game.

What's new
Initial release of the Renewed First Age addon:
* 24 factions and a host of sub-factions, of which 7 are brand new.
* An expanded map which includes all of Eriador, the Misty Mountains and Calenardhon
* Expanded unit rosters to give factions more variety
* New ambiance to certain biomes
* Custom lanterns for most factions
* Custom shields for all factions
* Unique world generation features
* A portal which will link all 4 dimensions together
* A ridiculous amount of custom helmet models
* New ambient entities
* More blocks
* And much more..
This is an Alpha, there will be bugs and missing textures. We will fix those as we go along. This build runs on Renewed 5.5
