Falderal Changes

NetherStar Extends all Buff spells by 30 seconds.

Fermented Spider Eye modifies Ancient Blessings to cast standard invisibility (remember invisibility doesn't work within 2 meters or so of mobs nor if you are wearing armor).

 

 

Testing Ritual (shows you where your ritual will run.

Light Spell

Has a shorter range.  Longer than most "reach" items and normal touches tho.

 

Flying Spell

Client/Lan game only - Wear your focus and hold a feather in your main hand.  Right click.  You start flying fast where you are looking 

* If you are not in water (can't fly under water for more than 1 second either).

* And you are above sea level OR can see the sky

* And you are not standing on lapis ore or lapis blocks.

 

Flying uses chunk mana if available, otherwise it uses personal mana.   Flying is a hard on personal mana- about 2 minutes will drain you from full.

Each time flying ends you get 2 seconds of slow falling.  You can use this to pause in the air and look around before continuing.

 

Not sure why flying not working on the dedicated server- I have the set flight=true in the settings file.  Debugging indicates its calling the setMotion command.  But no luck so far.

 

New Spell Sounds

Glorious Recall to World Spawn now has a very noticeable "starting casting" sound of lightning bolt+ thunder when cast.

Recall you can "sneak" / duck out of any spell and it won't.

Sepsis and Crimson Cloud have new spell sounds (may have been in last release-- bit fuzzy).

Ancient Blessings has a new "casting" spell sound.

Light Spells have a new texture.

 

New Spell Durations

All buff spells now last 1-16 seconds longer.

 

Ritual Changes

Logging ritual: now goes *much* higher (19 meters) and costs based on work done.   Chunk mana is consumed after a certain number of items are harvested.  Leaves == 0.1.  Logs = 1.0.  There's a charge every 64.0.

Mining Ritual: is a little more expensive to cast the deeper you are.     

Testing Ritual: right click on the ritual and a miniscule amount of personal mana will show where the ritual will run.  Your sword will not be damaged.

 

Devices

Mana Gatherers are limited to two per chunk now.   Added a "failure" sound and "poof" particles when you attempt to place a 3rd.
