Recruits Use Boomsticks is a standalone compatibility mod that allows crossbowmen from Villager Recruits to use weapons from Medieval Boomsticks.

Crossbowmen can find, equip, reload, aim, and fire supported weapons using dedicated combat AI. The integration includes physical ammunition handling, reload and firing animations, projectile spawning, durability loss, sounds, smoke effects, and protection against friendly fire.

Supported weapons

Handgonne — uses Round Balls
Arquebus — uses Round Balls
Spiked Handgonne — fires three Round Balls
Arbalest — uses Heavy Bolts
