welp, I completely screwed up the description page editor..... so I guess blank slate it is :|
Anyways, I started working on a 1.19 version and I'm going to try and keep updates here as I make progress.
Update 7/16/2023:
- been busy the last few weeks (months?) but I finally had time to work on the mod again today.
- rendering system is mostly done.
- input system is now finalized which is a major step forward.
- from here the next major step is setting up the internal gun logic using components
- the system for this has mostly been setup already, but there's a few things left to do
- looking forward towards an alpha release, I will need to setup all the component pieces, make new models to replace old models to be more like the M1 Garand
- for anybody interested in making a resource pack for this mod, every aspect of the models is now made in blockbench including the animations, animations being in blockbench is a huge step forward as they can now be visualized in blockbench rather than having to edit a text file and test in minecraft directly.
