Other mods

  • Streams Reflowing: its rivers have the sea's water now. Since 2.0.1 the water that mod gives a current (its streams and rivers, and the bays and coasts its currents run along) was left to the game to draw, so that the flow stayed in sight. But it was plain flat water: no sun on it, no sky in it, none of the clear water, its depth or the caustics under it, and a line where it met the sea. Whitecap now draws that water itself, with the flowing texture on it turned the way the current runs, as Streams Reflowing lays it. A river looks like the sea it runs into and still runs, with "Use vanilla water texture" on or off. Where a stream steps down or falls, the sloping water of the step itself is still the game's. Rivers keep their current (on by default) is still the switch: off, a river is covered like any still water. On every version.
  • Sable: no more hole in the sea around a raft. To keep hulls dry, Whitecap cut every block of a contraption out of the sea, all the way up. A raft lying lower than the water around it (any raft on a server without Whitecap, where ships float on flat water while the sea you see rises and falls) sat in a pit the shape of its footprint, open at the sides: patches beside and under it with no water at all. Now only what a contraption keeps dry is cut out: the inside of a hull below its rim, and the planks around that. A raft, a mast or a railing simply lies in the water, which is drawn right up to its real shape, slabs and fences included, at any tilt, and washes over a deck that lies lower than the wave. A hull stays dry inside, as before. NeoForge 1.21.1, the version that keeps ships dry.

Thanks to Redj for the picture of the holes around a contraption; to phjblit and stoic_wozniak41, who asked for Streams Reflowing; and to benjimirooo and TrippleError, who reported its flowing water going missing under "Use vanilla water texture" (TrippleError also that it had none of the sea's caustics and sun glitter).
