Description
Book and Quills should be crafted with inkwells, or the dye directly.
Requiring squids specifically to write books is odd, many modpacks include multiple ways to gather black dye without ink sacs such as charcoal or different flowers.
I've added coal + glow ink for multiple black dye, there's not enough uses for glow ink.
Crafting a bottle and a black dye will give you a full inkwell, which can be used to craft up to 4 Writable Books, and once empty can be crafted back into a bottle.
The inkwell can be placed as a block on the ground, and retains its fluid when picked up.
The inkwells can be refilled with black dye when empty, or any time as a block.
The blocks are a bit large, but you can walk through them. Only made them for blockbench practice, but they came out nice enough to keep, so if you hold a feather in your main hand and a book in your off hand you'll craft the Book and Quill by right clicking the filled inkwell blocks.
