RCNA Core | v0.1.1 | Beta
RCNA Core is a mod built specifically for the RunicCraft: New Ascension modpack.
Instead of relying on a bunch of smaller mods to handle individual pieces of functionality.
RCNA Core houses it all in one place — one library of code that the pack depends on.
⚠️ This mod is currently in beta. Expect updates and changes as the modpack continues development.
InGame Info XML Integration
RCNA Core comes with its own custom tags for InGame Info XML, built to show you exactly what the pack needs at a solid response rate.
Each integration only activates if you have the mod installed, so nothing breaks if you don't.
Included:
- Thaumcraft — Aura vis, flux, and warp levels
- Blood Magic — Soul network LP, max LP, and orb tier
- Serene Seasons — Current season and sub-season
- Tough as Nails — Body temperature, thirst level, and hydration
- GregTech CEu — Ore chunk detection, dead vein detection, and highest voltage tier in your inventory
- Vanilla — Weather countdown, loaded chunk count, and proper snow biome detection
Discord Rich Presence
I built RCNA's Discord RPC from scratch after noticing how slow and unreliable the other options were.
The response time is much faster than what you'd get from other Discord presence mods — it actually keeps up with what you're doing instead of getting stuck or lagging behind.
It shows:
- What screen you're on — Main Menu, World Select, Server Select, Settings
- Whether you're in singleplayer or multiplayer
- Your current dimension, biome, gamemode, and health
- The world or server name
More to Come
RCNA Core is still actively being developed alongside the modpack. Planned additions include pack-specific tweaks, recipe changes, balance adjustments, and more mod integrations as the pack's mod list gets finalized.
