What's new

2026-10-10 08:19 — Add furnace-to-motor achievement path

- Renamed the blast furnace achievement without changing its ID, parent, or craft trigger. Added iron furnace, crusher, vacuum tube, and motor achievements in a single parent chain with their own icons and spaced tree positions.
- Award the two component achievements only through successful player crafting paths. Machine output shift-clicks now award from completed output pickups, avoiding awards from failed transfers or input inventory moves. In-game unlocks and the display of the long titles still require runtime validation.

2026-10-10 08:42 — Branch furnace and assembler achievements and add four milestones

- Moved the assembler achievement under the blast furnace alongside the iron furnace branch, preserving existing IDs and craft triggers. Repositioned the assembler icon and added distinct mercury, carcinogen exposure, detonator, and hemp milestones.
- Mercury unlocks from successful player smelting of mercury nuggets or ingots; carcinogen unlocks when a player's asbestos condition rises above zero; detonator unlocks from a completed craft; hemp unlocks when the player picks up the hemp plant item. Each new award requires its parent achievement. In-game unlocks and tooltip layout still require runtime validation.

2026-10-10 08:57 — Add rare hemp grass drops and craftable grass plants

- Breaking short grass or either half of tall grass can add the existing hemp plant at a 1% server-side roll per plant. Canceled breaks, creative harvesting, shears, and Silk Touch do not receive the extra drop; normal grass drops remain in the Forge harvest path.
- Added one grass block to short grass and two vertically stacked grass blocks to tall grass crafting recipes using vanilla plant metadata. Placement and drop behavior still require in-game validation.

2026-10-10 09:06 — Unblock hemp discovery and add achievement admin command

- Made `achievement.hempDiscovery` parentless so hemp pickup no longer depends on `achievement.stratum`; its ID and pickup trigger remain unchanged.
- Added operator level 2 `/rntachievement list` and `/rntachievement unlock <player> <achievementId>` for online players, including required parent awards and player synchronization through Minecraft's statistics system.
- Source inspection found no RNT handler that clears achievement progress. Relog, dimension change, and server restart persistence still require in-game validation.

2026-10-10 11:03 — Add direct right-click harvesting for crops and hemp

- Mature strawberry, coffee, and tea crops now return to growth stage 0 on right-click and drop their existing mature harvest, reserving one planting item when present. Immature crops retain their normal interaction and breaking behavior.
- Fully grown two-block hemp now returns to its short WEED plant on right-click of either half and yields one hemp item after reserving the other for regrowth. Other flower and tall-plant variants are unchanged. Harvesting uses server-side block activation and player edit checks; canceled interactions remain governed by Forge. In-game and claim-mod compatibility still require runtime validation.

2026-10-10 11:25 — Extend machine achievements and free carcinogen exposure

- Made `achievement.carcinogenExposure` independent of progression while retaining its asbestos exposure trigger and saved ID. Updated the `hot topic 2` description without changing its achievement identity or furnace branch.
- Added craft achievements for the soldering station, oil derrick, pumpjack, and fracking tower. The chemical reactor now directly follows the soldering station; the oil machines branch according to their shared crafting prerequisites rather than imposing a false extraction sequence.
- The derrick is the earliest practical oil extractor by recipe and power demand. The pumpjack adds Desh, hydraulics, and greater throughput; the fracking tower adds Desh, fracking solution, and much higher power demand. In-game achievement unlocks, tree layout, and saved progress still require runtime validation.

2026-10-10 15:12 — Correct crusher and component achievement branches

- Made the crusher a direct child of the assembler and made the motor and vacuum tube separate direct children of the burner press. Adjusted their tree positions to separate the branches without changing achievement IDs, icons, or unlock events.
- Existing saved achievement progress remains tied to the same IDs. In-game unlocks and tree layout still require runtime validation.

2026-10-10 17:33 — Add Arc Welder and reroute oil achievements

- Added the Arc Welder achievement beneath the blast furnace, awarded through the existing machine crafting handler when the welder is made at an anvil. The oil derrick (Black Gold), pumpjack, and fracking tower now follow it in machine tier order; the detonator follows the soldering station while the chemical reactor remains on its existing branch.
- Repositioned these icons and the shredder icon to avoid branch crossings, without changing the shredder's parent. Renamed the fracking tower title. Existing achievement IDs and craft triggers remain, preserving saved progress; in-game unlocks and layout still require runtime validation.

2026-10-11 21:11 — Fix arc welder dirty-runtime crash

- Reject a null recipe before accessing its fluid in material eligibility checks. Empty or unmatched inputs can legitimately clear the cached recipe during lifecycle or inventory dirty reevaluation.
- Revalidate the selected recipe against live inputs, fluid, and output capacity before charging processing power or consuming materials, preventing stale eligibility from processing invalid inventory while a dirty callback is queued. Retain the existing recipe refresh, idle wakeup, progress accounting, NBT fields, and bounded MachineRuntime scheduling.
- Source tracing covers recipe lookup, inventory/tank notifications, dirty callbacks, and processing guards; offline Gradle compileJava succeeded with Java 8. Dedicated-server and in-game behavior still require runtime validation.

2026-10-11 22:00 — Audit machine processing caches and runtime callbacks

- Revalidate live recipe/material/output eligibility before accounting or completion in furnaces, presses, centrifuges, cyclotron, microwave, exposure chamber, soldering station, vacuum circuit, transmutator, funnel, oil processors, and the shared assembler/chemical-factory paths. Direct stack edits and bounded dirty reevaluation can otherwise leave cached eligibility usable after its inputs have disappeared or changed. Preserve existing dirty/coarse wake paths and each machine's interruption rules.
- Refresh the aggregate arc furnace's complete batch recipe array during eligibility checks, track chemical-factory recipe generations, and refresh electrolyser/refinery caches when the selected registry entry changes. Retain optional fluid and output contracts, including preconsumed custom-generator recipes.
- Make electric, arc, nuclear, and RTG furnace output checks account for the entire recipe output stack. Bound strand-caster batches by output space, cooling water, and steam capacity; unsupported foundry molds wait without deleting their material buffer.
- Exclude the absent-battery deadline sentinel from refinery pollution, catalytic-reformer output, and electrolyser casting callbacks, preventing same-tick infinite rescheduling. Reinitialize transmutator accounting on chunk reload instead of subtracting its unloaded timestamp sentinel.
- Reject unloaded/invalid cached targets in Watz segments, molten-salt ports, RBMK inlet/outlet ports, and PWR/ICF block proxies. Molten-salt output ports can still drain their own buffer without a reactor; existing rediscovery paths handle returning controllers.
- Handle absent custom-machine configurations during worldless NBT loading and fluid registration, invalid saved custom/autocrafter recipe indices, and the missing automatic RBMK rod function. Normalize control-function requests using the function enum's own length.
- Apply general NBT/button machine controls on the server world tick through a bounded request drain, preserving packet formats and existing permission logic; discard queued controls on world unload and recheck connection/world/target availability before application. Mutating OpenComputers callbacks now use the API's server-thread callback mode, preserving their names and arguments with the normal synchronized-call delay.
- Wake idle gas turbines and RBMK control rods when computer controls change their processing state. Rocket-pad launch/fuel/stat checks use the current inventory rocket rather than a stale or absent display cache; destination queries use the actual world and correct drive-presence check. Empty artillery targets, absent turret whitelist data, and stale whitelist deletion indices return safely.
- Leave unmatched crane-partitioner inputs untouched instead of entering a zero-decrement loop, and mark successful partitioning for persistence. No recipes, machine identities, network topology, NBT keys, build tooling, or runtime strategy registrations were changed.
- Stardar computer statistics now return an absent parent for the system's root star instead of dereferencing its intentionally null parent; the remaining statistics and return positions are preserved.
- Inventory/NBT computer queries now run on the server thread too: rod, lens, shield, pellet, whitelist, and launcher lookups can otherwise race slot replacement or initialize item NBT off-thread. RBMK console column queries validate their grid coordinates and use live column snapshots instead of a possibly unpopulated or stale display cache.
- ICF pellet statistics return the computer API's soft missing-state response for an empty or invalid fuel slot, preserving the five statistics for valid pellets.
- Source inspection covered machine/runtime and legacy tick paths, inherited processing helpers, inventory/fluid mutation boundaries, saved state, and callback ownership. Offline Gradle 4.5 compileJava succeeded with Java 8; git diff --check passed. Packaging, dedicated-server launch, optional-mod integration, and in-game behavior were not performed and remain unverified.
