Rarity & Quality (R&Q)
Every item has a story. R&Q gives yours one worth telling.
R&Q is a loot and progression mod that layers a Rarity and Quality system onto every weapon, tool, and piece of armor in the game. No two items are the same — a Diamond Sword you find on day one might be Common and Broken, while one you forge later could be Legendary and Heaven-Forged.
Rarity determines how powerful an item's base stats are, and at the highest tier — Superficial — grants a unique supernatural ability chosen from twelve possibilities, including Lightning Strike, Lifesteal, Shockwave, and more.
Quality governs how efficiently an item performs: attack speed, armor toughness, mining speed, and durability all scale with quality tier. Reach Heaven-Forged and your item becomes truly indestructible — and kept through death.
The Refinement Nexus is the heart of the mod. This arcane anvil, wreathed in rotating galaxy-hued rings, lets you reroll an item's rarity and quality using experience levels. Lock in a tier you love using a Rarity Holder or Quality Holder gem before rerolling, and the nexus will preserve it while randomizing the rest.
