What's new

1.0.1

Bestiary rework

  • The bestiary now starts empty. Only what an operator adds shows up, and it no longer shows which mod something comes from.
  • New Items section next to Mobs, both with a search box.
  • Mob entries now show health, damage and what the mob drops with amount and chance.
  • Item entries show how to craft them (ingredient grid) plus smelting, blasting, smoking, campfire and stonecutting recipes.
  • New searchable picker to add mobs and items from a list, so you don't need to know their names. Modded mobs and items are included. An extra button adds the item in your main hand.
  • Health, damage, drops and recipes are calculated automatically, also for modded content.
  • New commands: /bestiario agregar, /bestiario quitar, /bestiario item agregar|quitar|descripcion|quitardescripcion, /bestiario lista, /bestiario recalcular, /bestiario escanear.

New admin menu (operators only)

A new Admin button opens three tabs:

  • Loot: change what any mob drops (items, min/max amount, chance in %, player-kill only) or restore the original loot. The bestiary shows the edited loot.
  • Recipes: create custom crafting recipes with a 3x3 grid editor (shaped or shapeless, 1-64 output), and block every recipe of an item. Changes apply instantly and survive /reload and restarts.
  • Spawns: pick mobs that must not spawn naturally. Existing ones are removed (named and tamed mobs are spared). Spawn eggs, spawners and commands still work.

Changes

  • The mod version is now 1.0.1. The network protocol changed, so the server and all clients must update.
  • Removed the "discover" system (??? entries, /bestiario ocultar, descubrirtodo, etc.). /descubrir <mob> now simply adds the mob to the bestiary.
  • Removed the descubrirAlMatar option from the config. The bestiary starts from scratch: old discoveries are ignored.
  • The mob filter by mod was removed from the bestiary.

Fixes

  • Adding a modded mob to the bestiary no longer triggers messages or commands from other mods: drops are now estimated without killing any mob.

Known limitations

  • Drops added by mods through code (not loot tables) may not show up. Use /bestiario escanear <mob> or add them by hand in Admin → Loot.
  • Drops that only happen on player kills or that depend on a mob variant may not show for modded mobs.
  • Mobs that a mod spawns by its own code without events can't be blocked from spawning.
