What's new
Quest Slot Machine 1.0.1: reward pools can have a token of their own
File: questslotmachine-1.0.1+mc26.1.2.jar, for Minecraft 26.1.2.
Tokens of their own
A reward pool can now name the item that pays for it, with token and, when one token is worth more than one spin, spins_per_token (1 to 64):
{ "token": "mymod:gold_ticket", "spins_per_token": 2, "tiers": [ ... ] }
Players carrying that item spend it at a Slot Machine straight from the inventory, before any Slot Token. One token pays for the spin, and the spins left over wait in the free spin queue, from the same pool. Next to the count, the machine shows the token that will pay next, and the prize table follows it.
When a player carries the tokens of more than one pool, they are spent in pool id order. A pool can't take the Slot Token: the tokenPool setting decides where that one goes.
Other changes
- The messages for "no tokens" and "tokens only work at a machine" no longer name the Slot Token only.
- The network protocol is now version 2, so a server and its players need the same version of the mod.
Updating
- Worlds from 1.0.0 open normally, and queued free spins are kept.
- Pools written for 1.0.0 work unchanged.
