Quaritum is a new mod that is all about manipulating the Rift. Currently there isn't much content but more is being added daily:
To get started with the mod, you should craft yourself a Blueprint. A Blueprint is the core to all tier 1 Quaritum rituals, also known as Diagrams. A Blueprint is crafted with a piece of Lapis Lazuli and a piece of paper.
JEI or NEI will tell you everything about the recipes in Quaritum, including, to its best extent, ritual crafting recipes.
The first thing that you are going to want to do, is place down the Blueprint and throw a poppy (red flower) at it. Now right click it and watch as the poppy turns into a Common Flower. This the first tier of magical flora. Unlike flowers from Botania and similar mods, Quaritum utilises the flower's physical entity rather than its magical contents. Now, the flower contains magical energy from the Lapis in the blueprint. Now you are able to create Soul Stones, and can start progressing and inputting the energy from the flowers into physical containers. Soul Stones are used to fuel more advanced Rituals. Once you have made an empty soul stone, craft it with a flower to charge it. Later you're going to need to kill some bosses, such as the Chaosborn, get some stuff ready, and when you're all done, conquer the world with powerful Rituals.
