Quantum Rocketry

This mod is extremely early in development.

Quantum Rocketry is a NeoForge mod for Minecraft `1.21.1`+ focused on early space-program progression, launch infrastructure, and orbital logistics.

Instead of crafting a single rocket item and calling it done, Quantum Rocketry is built around constructing a functioning launch complex, planning missions through the `Rocket Controller`, and expanding your capabilities step by step. The current gameplay loop emphasizes setup, mission routing, cargo returns, and the foundations of station-first progression.

Current Gameplay

Build and validate a launch complex, power it properly, and use it to send missions to data-driven destinations. Successful launches can return useful rewards, support cargo handling, and lay the groundwork for crew transfer and future orbital manufacturing systems.

## Launch Complex Components

A valid launch complex is:
• A complete 5x5 Landing Pad base
• A Rocket Controller placed on the top deck, one block above that base
• A Cargo Bay on the top deck
• A Vehicle Assembly Building on the top deck
• A Fuel Depot on the top deck
• A Satellite Receiver Dish on the top deck
• A Power Relay on the top deck

The controller can sit anywhere within that 5x5 top footprint, but the structure is only valid if all of those components are present.

Design Direction

Quantum Rocketry is designed around abstract launch requirements rather than a crafted rocket entity. Destinations currently use configurable requirements such as items, circuits, fuel units, signal items, and optional crew-transfer metadata, making the system flexible and datapack-friendly.
