Major changes and Additions:

  • added patchouli guide pages for coperncium 291, liquid collector, turbine cycles and liquefiers
  • updated and fixed grammar issues on basically every entry in the patchouli guide
  • increased the output of noble gases from liquid air distillation. Original: 44800 N2 + 12800 O2 + 4800 Ar + 1280 Ne + 320 He. Now: 38400 N2 + 12800 O2 + 6400 Ar + 5120 Ne + 1280 He
  • halved the RF cost of liquefying compressed air in super cooler - changed condensate water to water condensing recipe heat from 64 H -> 32 H and made the corresponding changes to the water accelerator and liquefier cooling recipes
  • added YBCO magnets to the list of valid magnets for the mass spectrometer - added basic ion sources to the list of valid ion sources for the mass spectrometer

Minor changes:

  • changed gluon gun info tooltip to explain how to switch modes
  • increased default processing time of mass spectrometer from 500 -> 1000 ticks
  • increased speed multiplier from ion source type in the mass spectrometer from half the particle output multiplier to just the output multiplier. This and the above change makes it so existing mass spectrometers with laser ion sources operate at the same speed as they did, there just now a slower basic ion source speed.
  • removed English GB guide entries as it just to much effort to maintain whole entries that have one or two words spelt slightly different

Fixes:

  • fixed incorrect number formating for particle units in jei
  • fixed incorrect quark masses
  • fixed info tooltip for antimatter launcher not showing
  • fixed incorrect localisation in the beam splitters GUI
  • fixed crash caused by invalid placement rules on NSC heaters

1.5 beta 3

Major changes and Additions:

  • added liquefier multiblock for high production rates of cryogenic liquids
  • debuffed cryogenic liquid super cooler recipes by increasing time by a factor of 2
  • reduced the heat capacity of water in accelerator cooling from 1000 H/mb to 64 H/mb
  • removed centrifuge recipe for compressed air this is now replaced with multiblock distiller recipe with liquid air
  • removed variable environmental heating based on biome from accelerators and vacuum chambers. Now the environment is always treated as 293 K (20 C)

Minor changes:

  • changed released energy of target chamber recipes because they where calculated slightly wrong (pesky electrons contributing to atomic masses)
  • changed default high energy collision chamber recipe energies to be rounded to 3 significant figures like most things in qmd
  • changed default decay chamber recipe energies to be rounded to 3 significant figures like most things in qmd
  • increased the max energy for target chamber recipes using neutrinos
  • changed colour of compressed air from gray to light blue
  • general code clean up

Additions:

  • added new config category for heat exchangers and liquefiers
  • added samarium cobalt magnet item

Fixes:

  • fixed and performed consistent rounding to 3 significant figures for all particle masses
  • fixed some mistakes with some collision chamber released energies
  • fixed a carbon target chamber recipes output been swapped around (they had the wrong borons)
  • fix: added beam port index checking to stop rare crashes caused by the beam IO Number being bigger than the amount of beams in the multiblock
  • fixed render bug with exotic containment chamber not showing floating exotic matter unless player opens the gui
  • fixed exotic containment chamber not rendering lava or water properly
  • fixed exotic containment chamber sometimes rendering laser behind floating material making laser disappear
  • fixed some misspelled localization strings

1.5 beta 2 It is HIGHLY recommended to delete your old QMD config file so a new one can generate. This is also beta and certain things might change for for the full 1.5 release.

Major changes:

  • changed atmosphere collector recipe system. Now recipes can define a whitelist for dimensions and biomes
  • removed config for setting atmosphere recipes, it is now done via crafttweaker
  • removed crystallizer recipe for turning water into sodium chloride, it has been replaced with turning salt water into sodium chloride. Salt water is obtained with the liquid collector in a ocean biome.
  • changed accelerator cooling, water now outputs condensate water instead of preheated water
  • added condenser recipe to turn condensate water back into water

Minor changes:

  • changed fixed liquid nitrogen temperature for accelerator cooling to 77 K
  • changed atmosphere collector texture
  • increased vacuum chamber jei arrow speed

Additions:

  • added liquid collector, it just like the atmosphere collector but for liquids! It requires the block in the specified recipe to be below it e.g. water and checks a 5x5x5 cube below it for more of those blocks to determine the output rate e.g a big pool of water.

WARNING: BEFORE UPDATING: turn off all nucleosynthesis chambers and empty hot mercury from output lines. AFTER UPDATING: reset heater configs, restart game, then break and replace ALL nucleosynthesis chamber HEATERs in world. Doing so will ensure your nucleosynthesis chambers won't EXPLODE!

Major changes:

  • updated to NCO 2o.9.2
  • changed the mercury cooling cycle for nucleosynthesis chamber. YOUR OLD SETUPS WILL NOT WORK!
  • increased all recipe heat in nucleosynthesis chamber by x1000 and heater cooling by the same amount -changed supper alloy turbine blade stats. Expansion: 1.9->1.3 Efficiency: 1.25->1.1. This allows the creation of slightly more compact high throughput turbines.
  • rebalanced accelerator component heat to buff higher tier components: MgB2: 580 H -> 540 H NbSn: 1140 H -> 1020 H NbTi: 2260 H -> 1980 H BSCCO: 4500 H -> 3900 H
  • rebalanced high energy collision chamber cross sections
  • changed tau recipe from electron positron collision, it is now significantly easier
  • changed ion source and beam dump recipes to reflect that hydrogen, deuterium, tritium and diborane are not monatomic molecules.
  • changed nucleosynthesis chamber recipes to reflect that hydrogen, deuterium, tritium, nitrogen and oxygen are diatomic molecules.
  • changed target chamber recipes to reflect that hydrogen, deuterium, tritium, nitrogen, oxygen, fluorine and chlorine are diatomic molecules.
  • changed accelerator cooling recipes so that now the temperature is recipe defined not fluid defined
  • remove water to heavy water in centrifuge recipe

Minor changes:

  • changed namespace for custom particles from contenttweaker to qmd to be inline the custom components location
  • buffed copper accelerator components efficiency: 50%->75%
  • corrected BSCCO's max temp: 104K -> 110K
  • changed accelerator cooling and vacuum chamber heating recipes so that now the heat is per recipe not per mB

  • fixed beam splitters only outputting to one particle chamber if there was no beamlines pipes between the splitter and particle chambers
