The Smiler stands at a distance, smiling and waving. When approached, it will reveal its true self and chase after you.
The Grim Grin will hide in a dark puddle, then pop out when approached, attacking anyone who gets close enough. As it is coming out of the ground, it cannot move.
Hunt is a smile that can be seen all the time. Even if you hide behind a wall, you can see it. If you look directly at it, it will begin the chase. It can go through walls and it flies, so your only way of escape is to run away. If you can run away from it for 1 full minute, Hunt will flee.
