Description
This mod adds several Prospecting Hammers, tools that when right clicked on a block will tell you (through chat) if there are any ores in a range dictated by the hammer material, and what kind it is.
The Hammers are as follows:
- Wood Prospecting hammer: Durability 128, Range 3x3x5
- Stone Prospecting hammer: Durability 256, Range 4x4x7
- Copper Prospecting hammer: Durability 384, Range 5x5x11
- Iron Prospecting Hammer: Durability 512, Range 7x7x15
- Gold Prospecting Hammer Durability 256, Range 16x16x33
- Diamond Prospecting Hammer: Durability 1536, Range 12x12x15
- Obsidian Prospecting Hammer: Durability 512, Range 5x5x25
- Emerald Prospecting Hammer: Durability 768, Range 16x16x7 (added in v1.1)
Range is the number of blocks searched in each direction, in the Width X Height X Depth format, where Width is X for most Block Facings and Z for East and West, Height is Y for anything not Up and Down, and Z for Up and Down, and Depth is forward from where you're aiming at, so Y for Up and Down, X for West and East and Z for North and South.
There are plans for adding mod support for some common materials later, such as steel and bronze.
