What's new
ProjectE Rebalanced 0.3.0
Released: 2026-06-12
Highlights
- Added major EMC upkeep and use-cost rules for powerful ProjectE items.
- Reworked the Dark Matter Pedestal around internal EMC, startup time, and operating cost.
- Added Energy Collector placement limits and built-in EMC value corrections.
Changes
Ring, amulet, and stone rebalancing
Many powerful ProjectE items now consume additional EMC while carried, active, or used. If the added cost cannot be paid, the related effect is blocked.
Main affected items include Swiftwolf's Rending Gale, Harvest Goddess Band, Ignition Ring, Zero Ring, Evertide Amulet, Volcanite Amulet, Body Stone, Soul Stone, Life Stone, Arcana Ring, and Watch of Flowing Time.
Dark Matter Pedestal
Right-clicking a Dark Matter Pedestal now opens a custom GUI.
- Pedestals store internal EMC.
- Klein Stars and other EMC storage items can be inserted into the internal inventory.
- Starting a pedestal requires a startup delay.
- Active pedestals consume internal EMC while operating.
- If internal EMC runs out, the pedestal shuts down.
Watch of Flowing Time
Watch of Flowing Time effects were reduced.
- Carrying the watch can require added EMC upkeep.
- Block acceleration and mob slowing use smaller periodic pulses.
- Day and night time control has a large additional EMC cost.
- Pedestal watch effects are also reduced.
Energy Collector limit
Energy Collector Mk1, Mk2, and Mk3 are limited to one of each tier per dimension.
EMC additions and corrections
Built-in EMC values were added or corrected for selected vanilla, GregTech CEu, Forestry, The Graveyard, Born in Chaos, Lycanites Mobs, and ProjectE items.
Configuration
Gameplay balance values for the new costs, limits, and pedestal behavior were added to the mod config.
