HULK -- RIDING

• A squad-mate riding the Hulk now actually sits on his back. The seat used to stay on one fixed side of him (it was only behind him while he faced south) -- it now turns with his body.
• The rider holds on piggyback-style: both arms reach forward round his shoulders and the legs wrap round his back, instead of sitting like in a chair.
• The Hulk now sees his rider on his own screen too (before, only everyone else did) -- in third person they are on his back.
• The rider faces the way the Hulk does and their view turns with the Hulk's camera, like riding in a boat -- you can still look around freely, up to a little past each shoulder.
• No more fall damage for the rider: not while on his back, and not for 8 seconds after hopping off mid-leap.
• The Hulk's HUD shows who is riding him ("Carrying <name>"), since he can't see his own back.

IRON MAN / STARK GLASSES -- NIGHT VISION

• Armour night vision is now automatic: it only switches on where you need it -- in the dark (light level 7 or less: night, caves, anywhere mobs can spawn) or with your head under water -- and goes off again once it is properly lit. A small gap between the on and off levels stops it flickering at the edge of torchlight.
• Lifting the Iron Man faceplate drops the night vision; it comes back when the visor closes.
• The Suit Info screen now lists night vision as "Auto (dark, visor down)", and the Stark Gear screen hint says the glasses give night vision in the dark.

NOVA

• Hold Shift + N for 5 seconds to take off the Nova Corps Helmet: the Nova Force leaves you (your Primary slot frees up) and the helmet comes back to your inventory (or drops at your feet if it is full), ready to put on again or hand to someone else. A countdown shows while you hold; letting go of N or Sneak cancels it.

WOLVERINE

• Frenzy (V) is now slightly area-of-effect: each of its five strikes also cuts anyone within 2 blocks of its target for 3 damage.
• The Wolverine Suit mends itself slowly: 1 durability every 5 seconds, worn or carried.

CRAFTING

• Metal Plating is now 3 iron ingots in a row and makes 6 (the same iron per plate as before). The old 2-iron recipe took over vanilla's two-ingot recipes, so shears and the heavy pressure plate couldn't be crafted -- they work again. Iron trapdoors are checked too.

GUIDEBOOK / MENUS

• Guide pages updated: Hulk riding, the Wolverine Suit's self-repair, Frenzy's splash, the Nova helmet removal (also in Nova's controls list), and the Stark Glasses' automatic night vision.
• Iron Man Suit Info and Stark Gear screens updated for the automatic night vision; new Hulk HUD line for the rider.

BEHIND THE SCENES

• Much faster testing: every update now runs only the tests for the parts of the mod it touched (none at all for art-only or docs-only changes). The full suite still runs for shared code and before every release, now split over 6 machines instead of 3.
