It starts quietly. Not with a scream — but with an absence.

Description

You weren't supposed to find this.

Project ECHO wasn't just another Cold War experiment. It was the CIA's attempt to answer one simple, terrifying question:

How far can you break a human mind before it stops believing it's human?

Between 1953 and 1973, under the umbrella of MKULTRA, real men and women were subjected to sensory deprivation, chemical alteration, repeated psychological conditioning, and the systematic destruction of their sense of reality. Most files were destroyed in 1973. But some echoes remained.

In this mod, you are Subject #47.

At first, nothing seems wrong. Your world looks familiar. Your base feels safe. But the longer you stay, the more the walls start to whisper.

--------Your own voice begins to sound... off.

--------Items move when you're not looking.

--------The night feels longer than it should.

--------And sometimes, when the Echo Meter drops too low, you start questioning which memories are really yours.

This is not a mod full of cheap jumpscares. This is slow, psychological decay. A mod that doesn't scream at you — it makes you scream at yourself.

Every torch that flickers, every block that feels slightly out of place, every faint radio transmission in the distance... is intentional.

They didn't just test on patients in locked rooms. They tested on people who thought they were free.

And the protocol? It was never officially terminated.

Project ECHO is still running. The only question left is...

Are you still the player... or have you become the test subject?
