Hello! Welcome to the world of DarkCraft, a lore driven minecraft mod filled with magic, and a side of technology.

This mod was originally created as a small personal project for me and some friends.
After a while i started to really enjoy making the mod, so i kept up with it.

When you spawn you will be assigned one of four species:
Human
Witch
Vampire
Werewolf

It is possible to become any of the races from human. However if you become a werewolf or vampire you will no longer have access to your magic. Currently the focus of the mod is mainly with the Witch race. You can obtain this by right clicking the "Crystal Ball" block. Witches can curse themselves and other players into becoming werewolves. Currently there is only one type of werewolf, a werewolf focused update is planned. Alternatively the player can become a vampire, they can become a Fledgeling vampire by drinking any type of vampire blood, it can be bought off of butchers, or taken from a pre-existing vampire player using the injection gun with a syringe in the offhand.

Vampires have 2 different types, with the only difference being how strong they are.
Pureblood vampires serve directly under Lilith. The way to become a pureblood is to drink Lilith's blood.
You can obtain it by reading through the book "Summoning 101: Playing God" Purebloods are a stronger variant of vampire, and when sanguine magic is added to the mod. Purebloods who were once witches will have access to it.

Werewolves now have a pack system as of version 2.2.0. Become the Alpha of your own wolf pack, infect other players and add them to your ranks, or go it alone and see how long you can survive.

Now onto Witches. Witches are the current focus of the mod as of version 1.0.
Witches have a variety of affinities they can start out with.
Lineage
Dark Magic
Artification
Necromancy
Elemental
Anti-Magic

You can find these spells by crafting the "Book Supply Box" placing it, and breaking it.

The player can swap between these affinities using a spell found in the book called "Magic and Me: A compendium of spells"

Lineage witches draw from magic that they have gained from the witches before them, all spells are bound to Lineage Plane. More can be found out in the book called "The Lineage Codex: Channeling Power from the Past"

Dark Magic currently as of version 1.0 only has curses. However be warned these curses will punish you for casting them, however the punishment is not permanent, along with the curses they also have a way to cleanse them.

Artification is the creation of magical items, such as a pendant to kill phantoms, a necklace that gives humans access to a limited amount of magic, boots that allow the player to walk on air and ways to store magic. You can find out more in "The Wizard's Workshop: Crafting Magic from the Mundane"

Necromancy allows the player to summon friendly zombies some have special abilities to enhance their protective capabilities. The spells can be found in the "Necronomicon".

Elemental magic has 4 subsects: Aer, Aquae, Terra, Ignis. You specialise in it through the use of the specialisation spell which can be found in the "Magic and Me: A compendium of spells" book.

Anti magic has the ability to nullify other magic types and ontop of that has the ability to weaken the supernatural creatures inside the field.

Greek-Gods:
Become a chosen of one of the greek gods in the mod [more coming soon] and gain their favour and unique abilities!

Soul-Trade:
Sell your soul into the Soul-Trade for some cool new abilities/items, beware of the drawbacks. Dont want the drawbacks? Sell you friends souls, after all what will they do with it?

I have tried to make the machines as compatable as possible with other mods however im not 100% sure how well compatability will work out.

Do not re-upload my mod to a third party website
You can use this mod in your modpack as long as you give me credit with a link to this mod's page

I will not be backporting the mod and will only port the mod to a future version when i feel like it is the right time.
