productivebeesgenesis-1.0.8.jar
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Productive Bees Genesis 1.0.8 targets Minecraft 1.21.1 / NeoForge. This release adds bilingual in-game guides, faster bee insertion and gene automation for mechanical apiaries, while further improving AE2 coordination, fluid output, and accelerated performance. It includes everything from 1.0.8-beta.1; existing worlds can update directly, and simplified legacy bee data is repaired when bees are extracted.
Added
- Bilingual in-game guides: added English and Chinese GuideME and Patchouli guides for onboarding, machine screens, upgrades, AE2 automation, filters, configuration, and troubleshooting. Both integrations remain optional, with G-key help and live recipes for the gene plugins in GuideME.
- Faster bee insertion: resource bee spawn eggs can be right-clicked into empty bee slots or batch-inserted through the cage input without first spawning and capturing bees in the world.
- Automatic gene-treat feeding: the cage input can consume gene-bearing honey treats automatically. A selected bee is preferred; otherwise the largest trait shortfall is chosen, and treats are preserved when no bee can improve.
- Gene sampler plugins: added apiary-only Gene Type Filter and Full Purity Gene plugins. They can produce TYPE-only or 100%-pure samples independently or together.
- AE2 network coordination: machines on the same ME network share candidate discovery and expensive-storage work budgets, reducing duplicate scans and isolating slow storage providers.
Improvements
- Real comb products: Myriad Creations now resolves each bee's real comb from advanced-beehive recipes, maps its matching comb block, and splits aggregated output by the item's actual stack limit.
- Survival-friendly plugin recipes: both gene plugins now use ordinary materials and a Gene Sampler, without component-bearing squashed-bee items, blank gene bottles, or command-only ingredients.
- Clearer guides and tooltips: Raw Ore Smelting, Essence Conversion, Byproduct Destruction, and both gene plugins now share one bilingual guide page, with more compact upgrade tooltips.
- More responsive AE2 fluid output: new or full-tank output is pushed immediately, while rejected leftovers retry on a controlled window without accelerated ticks causing unbounded direct inserts.
Fixed
- Spawn-egg bees retain complete genes: direct insertion initializes species defaults and stores the bee through Productive Bees' cage format, preserving correct gene tooltips and cage data.
- Automatic legacy bee repair: simplified data from older apiaries is normalized during automatic or manual cage extraction, without releasing and recapturing the bee.
- Reliable AE2 filtering and detection: fixed whitelist plus tag-expression combinations, pure tag filters being blocked by an empty whitelist, and installed AE2 being misdetected during some loading stages.
- Safer machine inventory and crafting data: external automation can no longer insert unauthorized items into output slots, and multi-machine upgrade recipes preserve each input's inventory, bees, and addon data.
- Strict compatibility boundaries: fast ejection, caching, and rollback behavior now applies only to this addon's machines, leaving Mekanism, Productive Bees, and other addon machines unchanged.
- Interface and recipe corrections: fixed accelerated GUI depth leaks, immutable byproduct-list mutation, third-party Mixin conflicts, and an unintended straw conversion recipe.
Performance
- Faster, bounded gene feeding: automatic feeding checks every 5 ticks with real-game-tick and position-based limits, processing up to four bees per second without time acceleration multiplying the work.
- Lighter high-tier gene sampling: small batches retain exact random behavior, while more than 128 production events use bounded aggregate allocation and shared trait snapshots.
- Whole-tank fluid ejection: apiaries and all centrifuge tiers can offer a full tank per call while reusing side and neighbor-capability caches; rotation, fair scheduling, and content-aware backoff reduce blocked idle work.
- More restrained AE2 scans and inventory queries: input lanes, candidate classes, component signatures, and network inventory snapshots are reused, initial scans are position-staggered, and output snapshots remain bounded and clear on server stop.
- Lower apiary batch overhead: output batches share one upgrade snapshot, while accelerated Wanna Bee sampling avoids repeated upgrade lookups and loot-modifier traversal.
