Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Productive Bees Genesis 1.0.8-beta.1 targets Minecraft 1.21.1 / NeoForge. This is the first 1.0.8 beta, published early to deliver the AE2 whitelist fix, automation-safety fixes, and network performance improvements while the remaining 1.0.8 work continues. Back up your world and please report issues around AE2 input filtering, centrifuge logistics, and accelerated processing.
Added
- Bilingual in-game guides: added optional GuideME and Patchouli tutorials covering setup, apiaries, centrifuges, upgrades, AE2 automation, filters, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Per-network AE2 coordination: machines on the same ME network share a base candidate directory and coordinate expensive storage work, reducing duplicate scans without letting one pathological network throttle unrelated networks.
Improvements
- More responsive AE2 fluid output: new output and full tanks push immediately, while previously rejected leftovers retry on a bounded window.
- Smoother AE2 input scanning: input lanes, candidate classification, component signatures, and inventory views are reused; initial scans are staggered by block position.
- Lighter apiary batches: one upgrade-state snapshot is shared across a production pass, and large Wanna Bee loot batches use bounded event sampling.
- Safer compatibility boundaries: Building Gadgets paste handling, Mekanism slot rollback, and batch energy accounting are restricted to this addon's machines; compatible wrap operations replace exclusive redirects where applicable.
Fixed
- Correct AE2 whitelist and tag-filter composition: tag expressions select candidates first; configured marks then apply whitelist or blacklist admission as a second stage. A tag-only setup with no marks is no longer rejected by an empty whitelist, and unlimited pulling cannot bypass admission.
- AE2 installation detection: fallback detection no longer depends on the removed
appeng.api.AEApiclass. - AE2 crafting no longer stalls on output-slot misinsertion: external automation may return matching items only with a short-lived, quantity-bounded credit created by a real extraction from that addon-owned slot.
- Upgrade crafting preserves machine data: combining multiple apiaries or centrifuges no longer risks overwriting later inputs' inventories, bee slots, or addon upgrade data.
- Rendering and cross-mod safety: fixed leaked depth-test state, immutable-list mutation in byproduct filtering, and exclusive Redirect conflicts.
- Essence recipe exclusion: Industrial Foregoing's
industrialforegoing:strawrecipe is no longer indexed as an essence conversion path.
Performance
- Bounded AE2 output snapshots: external storage snapshots use bounded arrays and shared network caches are cleared when the server stops.
- Fewer reserve-stock probes: live network simulation is skipped when cached stock already satisfies the capped request, with real operation costs tracked per network for backoff.
- Lower steady-state overhead: avoid redundant process-state CAS operations and full apiary output-slot counts.
Tests
- Added regressions for AE2 whitelist/tag composition, network sharing and cost coordination, input-lane snapshots, fluid batching, rollback credits and scope, Mixin boundaries, crafting-data preservation, apiary snapshots, Wanna Bee sampling, and optional guide resources.
- The complete local clean build, test suite, and release-artifact verification passed.
