Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Productive Bees Genesis 1.0.7 targets Minecraft 1.21.1 / NeoForge. This release adds Essence Conversion and Raw Ore Smelting upgrades, while improving logistics, configuration, and everyday interaction across apiaries and centrifuges. Existing worlds can update directly; legacy server settings are migrated automatically with backups preserved.
Added
- Essence Conversion upgrade: automatically crafts essence, nuggets, and fragments while preserving incomplete groups. Redstone essence, obsidian shards, and the full nether-star essence chain are supported, without compressing ordinary ingots or gems into storage blocks.
- Raw Ore Smelting upgrade: Productive Bees centrifuges and this mod's centrifuges can turn raw ore products directly into their matching ingots.
- Per-slot feeder control: each mechanical-apiary feeder slot can be disabled independently or restored in bulk. Disabled slots do not participate in flower matching or item conversion.
- Direct output to adjacent containers: new products can go straight through configured output faces, falling back safely to local output slots when the target cannot accept them. Each machine has its own toggle.
- Centrifuge input return: a new button returns inputs to ME first, then to a configured adjacent container. Items remain in the machine when neither destination can accept them.
- Wax-aware byproduct destruction: the upgrade can now remove wax and Productive Bees honey while preserving unrelated products.
Improvements
- Clearer server configuration: settings are split into gameplay, machines, and capacities, each with its own screen. Existing values migrate automatically and the old file is retained as a backup.
- Safer capacity editing: factory tiers are grouped by mod and labelled directly. Capacity entries cannot be accidentally deleted, reordered, or moved, and changes take effect after restarting.
- Better AE2 filter feedback: combs this machine cannot process are visibly marked, while comb and comb-block stock, amount, and precision settings remain available and persistent.
- Fairer output handling: item outputs and multiple fluid tanks rotate their priority so large factories do not continually favor the first slots.
Fixed
- Machines no longer stall on too many product types: overflow products enter a safe pending output, with inputs consumed once and every committed product preserved.
- Accurate accelerated smelting energy: batch energy follows completed work, and refilling across ticks no longer repeatedly shrinks jobs or charges extra energy.
- Consistent advanced-apiary byproduct rules: honey products, pollen puffs, and honey-level growth are handled correctly while unrelated products remain untouched.
- More reliable logistics rollback and output faces: matching items can be returned by third-party logistics, and rotation or side-configuration changes immediately update direct-output targets.
- Interface and resource fixes: corrected block-item depth, drag occlusion, missing texture references, and duplicated models.
Performance
- Designed for 256x acceleration: repeated high-frequency work is coalesced, while essence conversion, recipe lookup, capacity reads, and inventory decisions use reusable caches and fast paths.
- Lighter large-factory output: all output slots are handled in one pass without repeated shuffling and rescanning, with automatic backoff when a destination is blocked.
- More restrained AE2 interaction: unsupported combs are skipped early, stock and candidate checks avoid repeated network work, and slow or full storage backs off automatically.
- Smoother apiaries and recipe lookup: flower, dye-product, bee-type, and item-filter results are reused until their inputs actually change.
