Primitive Gear
Primitive Gear mod adds bone and flint tools to the game. I know there were, are, and will be many mods like this, but I wanted to make my own since none of the existing ones for this version satisfied me. This mod also adds some primitive weapons made from bone and flint, as well as a wooden club and a bone shield. I often found myself in modded fantasy or medieval packs with bones in the early game and nothing to do with them, so I added some extra weapons, such as bone throwing darts and bone claws. There are no plant fibers, and crafting recipes are simple and straightforward.
I know this mod isn’t revolutionary, but it adds some diversity to the early game and to primitive mod rosters.
The mod can be used alongside other mods that remove the ability to mine wood without an axe or that remove wooden tool recipes. This mod does not do that ! It adds a flint handaxe, which can be crafted in the inventory crafting grid and functions just like a normal axe.
In the future i would like to add a bone armor set.
I also made a mod that removes wooden tools recipies.
