Each storm is wrapped in a churning shroud of type-colored fog that pours endlessly off its edges and rolls out across the ground. From a distance it hangs like a curtain over whatever lies within — but step through the veil and the world changes around you, the very light shifting to the storm's color. You'll know at once you're somewhere else entirely.

These are not painted-on decorations sitting in a field. A storm drifts across the land on its own path, climbs over mountains and rolls through valleys, and crackles with lightning that flashes in its own color high in the clouds above. And when its time is done, it doesn't simply blink out — it comes apart, dissipating seamlessly back into open sky.

The interior of every storm slowly draws out wild Pokémon born of its element — and they arrive wearing the Anomaly Aura. Catch one, and that aura is yours to keep, forever, riding with the Pokémon through every box, every trade, every journey after.

These are no ordinary encounters. Each one is marked in the storm's colors, carries power well above the wild, and is found nowhere else in the world. When a storm fades, any you didn't claim are left behind to roam — so if you see one you want, don't let the storm take it from you.
