Adds a few entities from the Roblox game Pressure.

Description

!! THIS IS AN UNOFFICIAL FAN PROJECT. I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THESE CHARACTERS, NOR AM I AFFLIATED WITH THE ORIGINAL GAME'S DEVELOPMENT TEAM !!

Inspired by Pressure, a game by Zeal and Urbanshade: Hadal Division (ROBLOX)

An entity-focused mod which aims to bring monsters and characters from Pressure to Minecraft. Currently includes 4 unique creatures, a few supplementary items and blocks, and a rare night event!

Holy smokes thank you all for 1,000+ downloads!! As always, nothing has changed behind the scenes, but nonetheless I am grateful for your support.

This project is currently in BETA due to the general lack of content and polish, as well as having a high risk of bugs. (moved up from alpha for public "testing" purposes). It was originally started and in development months before its first release, but I lost steam working on it. It felt like a waste to let such a project, even in its current state, never see the light of day, thus why I'm uploading it as such. I cannot promise any future updates.

All Current Entities:

Deep Sea Bunnies

  • Spawn at the bottom of most overworld oceans
  • Can sometimes make their home in nests on the ocean floor
  • Assuming you can transport them, you can make your own in-house warrens for them to live in!
  • Friendly reminder that deep sea bunnies are NOT NATURALLY AMPHIBIOUS
  • Ultimately just house pets, no material utility

warren crafting recipe

Eyefestation

  • Spawns in most overworld oceans
  • Pulls your gaze and deals damage if you look at it, it'll even bite you if you get too close!
  • Originally from Tutorium, another minecraft mod of mine
  • ...Like a direct port from Tutorium. This creature honestly needs a revamp to its AI and texture

Squiddles

  • Spawns nearby oceans, as well as in caves underneath them
  • Naturally docile, only attack when exposed to light
  • You can fight and defeat them, or run away until they calm down
  • Dissipates in natural sunlight

Crooked

  • Hunts down a single player for a night, ignoring any others
  • Stops moving when looked at
  • Able to find his way to the player in almost all circumstances
  • If the player survives the whole night, he will reward them!

Miscellaneous Additions:

  • Ferryman Tokens (Stackable, inventory totems of undying, very rare)
  • Toy Remote (No functionality; Creative only)
  • Mask of Sadness (No functionality; Creative only)
  • "Complex" Squiddle (Creative-only experimental squiddle AI)
  • Reflective Visor (Taken from Tutorium. Prevents damage from looking at Eyefestation; Creative only)

FAQ:

"How will the original game's controversey affect this mod?"

No matter what, this mod will remain publicly available for preservation purposes. After all, preserving my work was the whole point in publishing this mod in the first place! While the discontinuation of Pressure has not been confirmed yet, it is very likely that we will never see the release of the overhaul. And with it, no dedicated point in time for me to consider returning to this project.

I will not entertain any discussion of the controversey itself. This is a place to celebrate Pressure as a game, not to dig deeper into the wounds of those involved with this controversey. There's nothing wrong with referring to it for clarity in your messages, but please refrain from trying to instigate anything here.

"Updates?"

I cannot promise updates of any kind. Yet, I still find it difficult to say that I'll never return to development. It's less to do with the controversey, and more so the other things I want to create. It's really hard for me to commit to either dropping this project or returning to it. For your own sanity, you should assume that there won't be any updates for the forseeable future. However, I still encourage you to leave suggestions for things you want to see in this mod; I still read them, after all.

The remainder of this FAQ will keep the phrasing of a very hypothetical active development state, to help with people who want to leave suggestions.

"Port to X version and/or mod loader?"

MAYBE ports to future versions and/or fabric, NO ports to older versions of Minecraft. I can't realistically upkeep multiple versions of this mod simultaneously.

"Add X entity from Pressure? / Could X entity/thing be added?"

Leaving your suggestions would help me gage what players want to see from this project, so I do encourage it! This also includes unreleased entities, so long as there's an inkling of what they're supposed to be. Jackbot is the only futile suggestion, since I already want to add him.

"Add non-entitiy things from Pressure?"

I want this mod to primarily focus on custom entities and more complex mechanics. Simpler additions like blocks and such will not be focused on, but unique tools and complex stuff can still make it in.

"I found a bug!"

I would assume so. Curseforge as a system for reporting bugs, so please use that. I'm still learning how it works myself, so bear with me if I mess it up spectactularly.

"Can I use it in a modpack/video/piece-of-media/whatever?"

Feel free to, but as always don't claim ownership of the mod. Optimally, credit the original game too! Don't think the controversey surrounding the game gives you a pass on appropriately crediting it.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask them! I have a bad habit at forgetting to add context, and I may not realize I forgot to mention something important.
