- Added Horsetail Tea, which cures poison and bleeding, and regenerates a little health. Crafted with horsetails and water bottle.
- Cladophlebis now has a grayscaled texture and the colors will conform to any biome's foliage color.
- Changed the Ruined Hut loot tables so instead of Time Totems, you will find current and future fossils, and gem shards.
- Changed the spawning elevations of sedimentary stones to be slightly more spread out.
- Rebalanced the health and damage values of mobs.
- Added some advanced AI, including:
- - Sleeping: Animals will sleep depending on whether their species are Diurnal, Nocturnal, Crepuscular, or Cathemeral. Animals won't sleep in water and wake up upon getting attacked.
- - Advanced Hunger: Animals need food and get hungry over time (at different rates over time, with different size appetites between species). To satiate this, they will eat plants and animals which replenish different amounts of hunger. Animals can conserve their energy when they sleep.
- - Hunger Damage: Animals will take damage if they get too hungry, but only going as low as half health, unless the difficulty is set to Hard.
- - Natural Breeding: Pairs of animals enter 'love mode' on their own. Animals won't breed if there are too many other animals around, and with Advanced Hunger on, animals won't breed when hungry.
- Non-diurnal animals now have eyes that glow in the dark (below light level 7).
- Most animals can blink now. - Added Attack Animations to most animals, courtesy of Alex.
- Changed the way eggs hatch to be based on randomly generated timers instead of randomtick; now each egg undergoes three phases, at the start of which it will randomly decide how long it will take to progress to the next. Overall, eggs take between 7200 and 9000 ticks (6 and 7.5 minutes) to hatch (this becomes 3600 to 5400 ticks/3 to 4.5 minutes beneath a Citipati). This means eggs hatch faster than they used to.
- Made fixes to raptor climbing.
- Hesperornithoides can climb now.
- Hesperornithoides occasionally take dust baths, dropping feathers when they do so.
- Exaeretodon dig for tubers if given Michelilloa.
- Added new config options to turn off or tweak individual Advanced AI mechanics, turn off eyeshines, and more options for configuring mob spawns.
- Sorted configs into categories that are easier to navigate.
- Added a new config option to disable Petrified Forests from generating.
- Changed the default spawning rates of Triceratops and Ankylosaurus for better scientific accuracy.
- Enhanced tooltips for spawn eggs.
- Like nether nyliums, dirt next to mossy dirt can now be bonemealed to make more mossy dirt.
- Mossy Cobblestone and Mossy Stone Bricks can now be crafted with moss balls.
- Compressed individual animal fossils into the single Fossil Bones item. Skeletons are now crafted with 8 fossil bones around the skull.
- New skeletons for Plesiohadros, Protoceratops, Velociraptor, Dilophosaurus, Sarahsaurus, Scelidosaurus, Coelophysis, Desmatosuchus, and Postosuchus.
- Added the Fossil Crate, a block that is an... unmarked crate of fossils. Craft it with planks, paper, and Fossil Bones, and mark it with an animal skull.
- Added new Tuber blocks: crafting 4 tubers together make Big Tubers, and 9 together make Giant Tubers. These can be sheared like pumpkins into Big Carved Tubers and Giant Carved Tubers, and then crafted with torches, soul torches or time gem shards into Big Tuber Lanterns and Giant Tuber Lanterns, with respective soul and time variants.
