PREHISTORIC FAUNA VERSION 2.1.0 CHANGELOG:
- Ported the mod to Minecraft 1.16.4, thus making it playable in both 1.16.4 and 1.16.5.
- Added Henos Sentinels, hostile guards who lurk inside the prehistoric dimensions. They're the first hostile mobs in the past, and come in two variants, Land Sentinels and Cave Sentinels.
- Added Albino and Melanistic skin variations for all prehistoric animals. Naturally spawning creatures have a .5% chance of spawning as albino and a .375% chance of spawning as melanistic.
- Rebalanced animal health and attack values.
- Redesigned Sillosuchus with a new model and texture.
- Ankylosaurus can now passively dig up an edible Tuber, akin to Frozen Up's Chilloos. Tubers can be farmed like potatoes.
- Camarasaurus now trample mobs when they walk.
- Camarasaurus now undergoes 3-stage growth, making newborn Camarasaurus much smaller.
- Didelphodon are now tameable with Crassostrea oysters! Didelphodon will also crack these oysters open when you drop oysters on the ground. Wild Didelphodon will eat the flesh inside when cracked open, but tamed Didelphodon will sometimes leave behind a Raw Oyster item for you. The original oyster item is now inedible, and Raw Oyster is edible but may cause hunger if eaten. Raw Oyster is interchangeable with unopened Oysters in the Oyster Soup crafting recipe. Didelphodon must be tamed before they can be bred.
- Allosaurus, Stegosaurus, and Tyrannosaurus attacks can inflict Bleeding, a new effect which for a time deals damage to entities whenever they move, akin but different from the Poison effect.
- Compressed mob meat drops into more generic meat items dropped by large groups of species, to reduce unnecessary items and future-proof mob drops. (These are: Large Thyreophoran, Large Marginocephalian, Small Ornithischian, Large Sauropodomorph, Small Sauropodomorph, Large Theropod, Small Theropod, Large Archosauromorph, Small Archosauromorph, Large Synapsid, and Small Reptile meat)
- Added some idle animal animations, and other animations for a few animals who didn't have them already.
-Added 6 fish which can be obtained with a fishing rod (as items) or with a bucket (as mobs) in the past, and modified the fishing rod loot tables in the past, so that prehistoric fishing will now make more sense and not give modern fish. 2 of these fish cannot be cooked. (These are: Lepisosteus, Cyclurus, and Myledaphus in Hell Creek, Potamoceratodus in Morrison, and Ceratodus in Morrison and Ischigualasto.)
- Certain plants are now 'fibrous' and can be crafted into a single bundle of Plant Fiber, a new item which works as a replacement to string in prehistory. Most uses for string are now interchangeably usable with fiber. 9 fibers can be compressed into a Plant Fiber Block, and fiber can be smelted into Thatch, a building block with stair and slab versions. Thatch can be crafted into beds. ('Fibrous Plants' include: Dicroidium, Johnstonia, Michelliloa, Scytophyllum, Ptilophyllum Fronds, and Heidiphyllum, Metasequoia, Protojuniperoxylon, and Protopiceoxylon saplings)
- Thescelosaurus, Dryosaurus, and Chromogisaurus can be fed fibrous plants, which they will chew on for about 30 seconds before dropping up to three bundles of Plant Fiber, making them a more efficient way to produce Plant Fiber.
- Halved the amount of time for carnivores to get hungry.
- Added the ability to grow small (single block trunk) Metasequoia trees.
- Hell Creek and Ischigualasto Rivers spawn much more frequently, are more continuous, and bend much more nicely.
- Ischigualasto has more Protojuniperoxylon. - Added a 'Fossiliferousness-Randomizer', so that some deposits of sedimentary stones will be more densely packed with fossils than others. Fossils are also now more rare.
- Henos laser no longer penetrates blocks, and is visible now; it also enters a shielded 'healing mode' at half health that can be broken through with three attacks.
- Added more compatibility with Quark, Buzzier Bees, and Decorative Blocks.
- Added the new Prehistoric world generation type, which contains all prehistoric dimension biomes mixed in one overworld (but contains no overworld biomes).
- Added 5 new Ancient Paintings and a new Wall Fossil.
- Added 5 new advancements and changed the name and condition for "The Late Thag Simmons".
- Changed to a new main menu panorama.
- Henos has melee and laser attack animations now, thanks to Alexthe666.
- Henos and Sentinels have emissive textures.
- Changed the look of Time Machine Frames
. - Changed the look of Portal particle effects; all portals now give off the same particles.
- Changed the look of Petrified Wood.
- Ptilophyllum can now be placed on any soil type.
- Zamites cones can now be placed on most blocks in general.
- Most 1-2 block tall underbrush plants now require shears or bone meal to be collected, to reduce inventory clutter. Also, the tall versions of single block plants, when sheared, drop two of their smaller counterparts instead of a single item.
- "Portal Hubs" are now named "Portal Chambers"
- The "phf" command was not re-added, "locatebiome" can be used instead.
