What's new
Here's a player-facing announcement for the current build. It's written cumulatively (covers everything since 0.03), so if 0.03–0.07 already went public, drop the "New" sections and keep the rest.

# PotatoS&T 0.09-alpha
**Minecraft 1.21.1 · NeoForge 21.1.235 · Java 21**
A technology mod that starts from the humblest of resources — the potato.
## New: High-Pressure Gas Tank
A 3,500 mB portable tank. **Gases only.**
- Its item icon carries a white gauge showing how full it is.
- No hand interaction — it can't be filled or emptied by hand. Route it through machine I/O.
- It mixes contents freely while there's room left.
⚠️ **This is not a safe container.** Carry **2,800 mB or more of hydrogen**, and any open flame or lava nearby will set it off — a fiery blast at explosion power 2. Store hydrogen away from heat.
## New: Filling Machine
- **5 independent tanks**, 5,000 mB each
- **5 items** processed in parallel
- 5 mB/t fill rate · 60 FE/t **per active tank**
- 3,000 FE internal buffer — no separate energy slot
- Vanilla-style cube model with a distinct top and bottom face
- The tank column in its GUI lines up with the slot row; the old energy readout is gone
## New: Music Disc — *Anvil of the Republic*
- **1:43**, comparator output 15, RARE
- Written and produced by **Malingshu** (牢薯不想牢)
- Plays in a jukebox exactly like a vanilla disc
## New Recipes
- **Power Energy Capturer**
- **Power Cable Spool** — requires a Capturer
- **Terminal** — now yields **12** per craft
## Bug Fixes
- **Machines no longer eat their contents.** Breaking a **Filling Machine**, **Electrolyzer**, or **Salt Dryer** while it was holding items silently deleted them. All three now spill their inventory onto the ground on break, as they always should have. Gas already inside a machine's tanks is still preserved.
## Localization
Full **English, 简体中文, 日本語, Русский** — all four files complete, with key parity verified across every language.
## Under the Hood
- Audited the whole codebase and wrote the findings up as a repeatable check instead of a one-off pass.
- Consolidated three duplicate energy-storage implementations into one shared type.
- Removed dead imports and other noise. **No gameplay changes** in this part.
---
**One honest caveat before you publish:** two items in there are not yet confirmed in-game.
1. The **item-drop fix** — I verified the mechanism (three machines, `onRemove` + drops), but nobody has broken a loaded machine in-game yet. That's the exact behavior the bug report was about, so it deserves one manual test before you claim it fixed.
2. The **energy consolidation** in 0.09 is a behavior-equivalent refactor by reasoning, not by observation. Worth confirming the three machines still charge and their energy bars still read correctly.
If both check out on your side, the text above stands as-is.
