What's new

Rebuilt for Minecraft 26.3.

A poop block is nine poop now, three by three, not four. It crafts back into nine, a full block broken without a shovel fertilises nine times, and it burns about twice as long. Guano blocks the same. A heap builds to eight layers on its own and the ninth deposit packs it into a block, so one packed in a pit is the same nine as a crafted one.

  • A long drop is worth watching. Poop falls as far as there is world beneath it, with a flute falling with it, and lands on a sound of its own: a wet slap on the ground, a splash into water, a hiss into lava. The further it goes the louder it lands, and past a dozen blocks you hear the echo come back. Short drops keep their dignity.
  • Two advancements: "Off a Cliff", for a hundred-block drop, and "When Nature Calls", for eating guano.
  • Manure. Aim at a crop, or have an animal stand on one, and the plant takes a bonemeal's growth instead of leaving a pile; a double helping feeds the tiles beside it too. A grown crop takes the deposit as a puff rather than dropping a pile in the row.
  • Guano never rots. A roost builds a permanent bed of droppings to be quarried, where they used to rot as fast as the bats could produce them. Poop still rots as before.
  • A bed accident leaves a pile on the bed rather than staining it: it sits down on the mattress, stops at three layers, and slides off onto the floor past that. At a full bar, or with diarrhea, it is no longer a roll of the dice.
  • The bat box says what is actually wrong. It looked two blocks up and down for water and missed a lake five below, and only looked at all once sky and clearance had passed; all three are checked every time now, and the card names the one that failed.
  • Asking a farmer about bats no longer takes eight emeralds without saying so. He makes his pitch, and paying is a choice you make.
  • Villagers ask for a latrine less often, and stop asking where the village already has one: the search now starts from the bell rather than from wherever the villager is standing.
  • What a villager says when you finish a job for them waits until you next speak to them, in their own voice, instead of appearing on the action bar as you walk away.
  • Poop and guano blocks uncraft back into nine, with their own recipe unlocks.
  • Sweeping the streets is worth something: breaking a poop or guano layer near a village raises your standing there, once a minute.
  • Pooper Scooper has a description where a mod shows one.
  • Fixed: a fresh one- or two-layer pile cut the face off the ground under it, so you could see through the world. Piles on beds too.
  • Fixed: a deposit aimed at your feet inside a bed, a carpet or a low slab had nowhere to start. It starts above now, and one landing on ground that cannot hold a pile slides aside instead of dissolving.
