- Pirates and Explosive Skeletons can now spawn throughout the world, not just on beaches
- New mob: Treasure Crab – A small crab that spawns on beaches or stony shores. It may appear carrying a chest on its back. If killed, it will drop the chest's contents. It also serves as a new food source, can be breeded with kelp

- New potion: Crab Shield, adds 4 points of armor and 2 points of armor thoughness to the player, obtainable by using a crab leg in an awkward potion at the brewing stand
