Simple spinner that keeps going so long as the game is running. (instantly know if the game is paused or lagging by looking at it NOT spin)
Description
Extremely simple mod that adds a little Spinner to the Top Left of the screen to indicate that the world is ticking at the right speed. One spin per second is ideal.
Not spinning means there's lag or the world is paused.
Required on server and client. Keybind is available to be set, so you can disable seeing the spinner clientside.
Created to help find modded screens that don't pause the game with the Menu Pause mod by Macbrayne, but also works great for server lag detection.
For multiplayer pausing, iChun has a mod for that. I just needed to tie it all together with an indicator like this.
