PatPat is a fun little mod concept: pat nearby mobs and players for a bit of extra charm and interaction.
This LITE version is an unofficial Forge 1.20.1 adaptation focused on the core idea only.
It is a simple alternative build for players and modpacks that want just the basic petting feature without requiring the MixinBooster dependency.
That means this project is best treated as a minimal Forge-friendly alternative:
- pat nearby targets
- visible pat feedback
- heart particles
- pat sound effects
- "/pat" command support
- simple multiplayer-friendly behavior
- no MixinBooster dependency
This version was originally put together for a personal modpack project that is still a work in progress, which is why the focus here is on keeping just the core petting feature lightweight and dependency-light.
