Skillite — Advancement‑Powered Perks
Give your server a gentle progression curve without adding items or grind. Skillite turns existing advancements into small, configurable stat perks.
Highlights
- Vanilla‑friendly “soft perks” unlocked by advancements
- Works in existing worlds: perks are computed from the advancements players already have
- Fully configurable per world (serverconfig): on/off flags, caps, per‑level values, randomization seed, exclude root advancements
- Lightweight and pack‑friendly (no items, no GUIs, minimal ticking)
Perks (defaults and fully configurable)
- Armor: +1 per level (cap 40)
- Max Health: +1 HP per level (cap 200)
- Toughness: +1 per level (cap 20)
- Crit Damage (Melee): +1% per level (cap 100)
- Durability Save: +1% chance per level to ignore damage (cap 20)
Smart advancement mapping
- Auto‑collects all advancements that have a display in your pack
- Optional “exclude root advancements” toggle (true by default) so only meaningful challenges count
- Randomly partitions the pool into perk buckets using a seed (deterministic). Change the seed to reshuffle.
- Per‑perk enable flags and “cap=0” are hard disables—no advancements are assigned and players can’t gain levels for that perk
Commands
- /stats [player] — Shows total Armor, Health (HP), Toughness, and Crit bonus (only for skillite perks), with clean color formatting
- /skillite reload — Reloads config, re‑collects advancements, reshuffles partitions, and reapplies perks live (no restart)
