What's new
OREBOUND Core 0.1.9
Enchanting, Home Travel, Tool Progression & Underground Dungeons
OREBOUND Core 0.1.9 expands several major systems at once, adding proper enchantment support for OREBOUND equipment, a built-in multi-home travel system, improved modded mining-tool integration, and an entirely new underground dungeon and relic system.
Enchantment Support
OREBOUND equipment now participates properly in Minecraft's standard enchantment system.
Mining tools with normal pickaxe enchantment support now include:
- Reinforced Pickaxe
- Steel Pickaxe
- Osmium Drill Pick
- Reinforced Diamond Drill
- Core Drill
- Worldbreaker Drill
These tools can now use compatible enchantments such as:
- Efficiency
- Fortune
- Silk Touch
- Unbreaking
- Mending
OREBOUND armor now properly participates in its normal armor enchantment categories:
- Abyssal Mining Armor
- Corebound Mining Armor
Utility tools have also received appropriate enchantment support:
- Crushing Hammer
- Prospector's Hammer
- Handheld Prospector
Named Multi-Home Travel
OREBOUND now includes its own built-in home system.
Players can save up to 5 named homes.
Commands:
/sethome/home/sethome <name>/home <name>/homes/delhome <name>
The unnamed commands continue to use the default home slot.
Each home stores:
- Exact coordinates
- Facing direction
- Dimension
Homes persist through:
- Relogs
- Server restarts
- Death and respawn
- Dimension changes
Existing single-home data automatically migrates into the default named home slot.
Home names are case-insensitive and support letters, numbers, underscores, and hyphens.
Modded Mining Tool Reliability
Additional fixes were made to ensure advanced mining tools consistently receive the intended OREBOUND Mining Power.
The following tools now use reliable fixed Mining Power ratings:
- Immersive Engineering Mining Drill — Power 4
- PneumaticCraft Jackhammer — Power 4
- Industrial Foregoing Infinity Drill — Power 5
- Industrial Foregoing Infinity Hammer — Power 5
These tools remain below Mining Power 6 so external mods cannot bypass OREBOUND's endgame tool progression.
Mining Power 6 remains reserved for OREBOUND's:
- Core Drill
- Worldbreaker Drill
Underground Dungeons
OREBOUND now generates hidden underground dungeons throughout the mining zones.
Eight dungeon tiers have been added:
- Origin — Abandoned Prospector Camp
- Outer Stone — Forgotten Excavation
- Dense Strata — Dense Foundry
- Deep Strata — Deep Research Vault
- Ancient Strata — Ancient Excavation Vault
- Abyssal Strata — Abyssal Containment Vault
- Corebound Strata — Corebound Reliquary
- World Core Expanse — World Core Reliquary
These structures are carved directly into OREBOUND's underground strata and are intended to be discovered naturally while mining.
Each tier features:
- A distinct building palette
- Progressively harder guardian encounters
- Zone-appropriate reward loot
- A guaranteed exclusive OREBOUND mining relic
Guardians activate only when a player approaches the dungeon instead of remaining permanently loaded throughout the world.
Origin dungeons are prevented from generating too close to the central starter area.
Mining Relics
Eight uncraftable Curios-compatible mining relics have been added.
Miner's Token
- +5% Mining Speed
Prospector's Lens
- +8% Mining Speed
- Fortune +1
Excavator's Charm
- +12% Mining Speed
- Fortune +1
Master Mining Helper
- +18% Mining Speed
- Fortune +1
- Night Vision
Ancient Mining Core
- +24% Mining Speed
- Fortune +2
- Night Vision
Abyssal Survey Core
- +30% Mining Speed
- Fortune +2
- Night Vision
Corebound Resonator
- +36% Mining Speed
- Fortune +3
- Night Vision
Worldheart Relic
- +45% Mining Speed
- Fortune +3
- Night Vision
Relics use the Curios Charm slot.
Mining relics deliberately do not grant Mining Power, meaning dungeon exploration improves a player's mining capabilities without allowing progression skips.
Curios 9.5.1 or newer is now required by OREBOUND Core.
Existing Worlds
Existing worlds remain fully compatible.
However, underground dungeons are generated during chunk generation, so they will only appear in newly generated chunks.
Already-explored terrain will not be retroactively modified.
