The issue seems to be more complicated and incredibly strange. Basically, adding the Ars MAX_MANA attribute on a dedicated server seems to include the starting mana, glyph bonus mana, and spellbook tier bonus mana, even though none of those are factored into the attribute in a singleplayer world. That's my understanding, anyway. Whatever the case, this update should fully account for it.
