ÆON: Fragments of Aethel is a mod focused on unique weapons, each powered by unstable fragments of an ancient artifact known only as ÆON.
Long before the current era, a lost civilization called Aethel attempted to understand and harness the power of an object whose origin was never discovered.
The result was a catastrophic event known as The Fragmentation.
The artifact was not destroyed — but its power was released, spreading across the world in the form of unstable fragments.
Over the ages, these fragments were found and forged into weapons, each carrying unique properties and unpredictable behaviors.
