The Processing and Proxys Update
Major improvements, adjustments, and additions to processing along with some new proxy blocks.
The Omni Grid now accepts any processing pattern, not just smelting processing patterns, but a bit of setup is required as it needs to know exactly where to send the processing resources.
-Place the Processing Pattern in a Core Cartridge
-Shift Left-Click where you want processing resources to go with the Core Cartridge, similar to Remote Block Targets. Its location will be saved on the cartridge.
-Put the Core Cartridge in the Omni Grid. It will link that location with the pattern.
Dont worry if you cant remember this, theres a tooltip to remind you.
When the processing pattern is requested, the Omni Grid will attempt to send the inputs to the processing location. You will need some methods of piping the output back into your Omni Grid. An Omni Deposit is recommended, which will be explained below.
Processing patterns where the Omni Grid does not know the location wont be recognized. If theres no location but it is a valid smelting recipe, it will be handled by the Digital Furnace as usual.
New Proxy Blocks
These are a cheaper and simpler alternative to the Storage and Controller Proxy Blocks. They can be linked to an Omni Grid with right-click but cannot connect or interact with networks in anyway. Like all other Proxy Blocks, the linked Omni Grid must be in range for them to work.
Omni Deposit: Items and Fluid piped into this via automation are deposited into the linked Omni Grid.
Omni Port: Can have 9 different items/fluids configured. Automation can pipe these out, taking them from the linked Omni Grids storage.
Advanced Omni Port: An Omni Port variant that can be configured independantly on every side. Right-click the respective side the configure it.
Omni Hub: A combination of a Port and Deposit. You can both configure resources to export and pipe resources in to deposit. An advanced version of this is included
Bulk Smelting - Utility Core
Added due to complaints about the furnace taking too long to smelt items. However I didnt want to simply make it smelt twice as fast or have a blast/smoker restriction, I wanted to go for something a bit different.
When installed, the Digital Furnace smelt four times as many items at a time (after stack upgrades), but take twice as long to complete one smelting process. Fuel consumption ratio remains the same per item. This utility core is ignored if smelting a small quantity of items. Overall its a 2x speed increase for smelting, but restricted to large quantities of resources.
Other Changes:
-Removed a spam message regarding the Overclocker
-Fixed Provide's Front/Back positions being inverted
-Fixed Proxy Controller dropping as Proxy Storage
-Cleaned up some unused code
-Registering a Block Target on an already registered location will instead clear the existing location, rather than giving an error that its already registered.
