Curse Maven Snippet
Reworked how energy is handled. The Omni Grid's old system would multiply all energy consumption regardless if the process was effected by upgrades or not, and would often drain the Omni Grids entire energy supply all at once if requested to do a massive transfer all at once. The intention of the Omni Grid is to act as a hand-held storage network, it should drain more energy for doing more transfers but making it empty in an instant didnt feel right.
New Stress based system
-There are no energy penalties for adding upgrades.
-All processes on the Omni Grid generate stress on the system. This includes commands and autocrafting and scales with quantity of resources transfered. The settings in the config affect the amount of stress generated.
-Stress is converted into energy drain over time at a 1:1 ratio at base.
-If stress surpasses 20%, the energy consumption rate increases up to +400% at 100% stress.
-The Omni Grid cannot process anything at 100% stress.
-Stress clears faster the higher it is.
-Stress clears significantly faster while the Omni Grid is idle.
This means if you transfer a large amount of resources at once, you will not get any energy penalties unless you are transfering large quantities constantly. If you are occassionally doing a large transfer, the stress likely wont reach 20%.
Energy upgrades have been adjusted accordingly
-Still increases energy capacity.
-Stress capacity scales with energy capacity, so it will increase with the above.
-Increases stress clear rate.
-Slight decrease in energy and fuel consumption.
At default values and 3 energy upgrades you'd have to transfer tens of thousands of items every tick before the stress penalty kicks in.
Added Brute-Force Crafting
Requires Autocrafting Core, then toggled under the crafting grid.
Due to numerous complaints about autocrafting requiring programming patterns being frusterating and tedious, this was added as a reverse equivilant. Quick and easy but lacks player control. When transfering a JEI recipe to the crafting recipe, attempts to autocraft missing ingredients using whats in your storage.
For example, trying to craft a dispensor without a bow in your storage will make it autocraft a bow from strings and sticks. It cannot do this recursively, so it wont be turning planks to sticks for this.
Beware with Brute-Force Crafting you have no control over what it takes from your storage. If an ingredient requires any ingot to craft, brute-force crafting cant tell the difference between a copper and a netherite ingot. You can blacklist items for brute-force crafting with a basic crafting command.
Other changes:
-Commands terminate if it tries to process an item that cant be serialized correctly.
-Due to the energy rework, Energy Breaker makes stress reduce processing speed rather than increasing energy consumption. Great if you're short on FE.
-Added Block Location Extender which allows the Omni Grid to remember up to 4 block target locations.
-Improved energy display sync between the gui and the block/item. Changes have a 1s delay at most (cant make it too fast due to lag reasons)
-Fixed specific container data not transfering when placing the grid.
-Fixed modification notifier to work with block form
