When the world was young, the Twelve withdrew from mortal lands. They raised Olympus — thirteen floors, from Hestia's hearth to the throne of Zeus. And beneath the roots of the world, Hades waits, patient, in the flames of the Styx.

You, ashen warrior, bound to the Blades of Chaos, have come to claim their throne.

Olympus turns Minecraft into a God-of-War-style boss-rush epic: a single, hand-sculpted floating island crowned by a colossal marble rotunda — thirteen floors, thirteen gods — and a final descent into the Underworld itself. No procedural filler. No grind. Just you, your blades, and the pantheon.

🏛️ A world forged by hand

The moment you create a world, the gods build theirs: a deterministic, hand-crafted map rises from the void —

❄️ A floating island of snowy peaks, its underside a bed of blackstone stalactites hanging over the abyss
🏛️ The Rotunda of Olympus: a white-marble round temple on a three-stepped crepidoma — open colonnades, terracotta roofs, turquoise-domed turrets, a great ribbed dome and a golden spire
⛲ A monumental plaza: twelve god statues, fountains, braziers, twin Spartan colossi and a processional avenue leading to the grand stairs
🔥 The Palace of Hades, carved beneath the world: a circular arena ringed by a lava Styx, bone-ribbed walls, and a throne that waits

⚔️ Thirteen gods, thirteen fights

The Pantheon — all thirteen gods

Every floor belongs to a god — and every god fights like a real boss:

Unique movesets with telegraphed attacks you can read and dodge: Hestia's flame rings, Poseidon's tides, Artemis' seeking lunar volleys, Athena's aegis tactics, Hephaestus' forge slams, Zeus' storm… and Hades' soul harvest.
Phase two transformations at half health.
Cinematic entrances — an orbital camera and an epithet for each divinity (skippable, for the impatient).

The Law of the Ascension: you only climb over dead gods. The Celestial Lift at the tower's heart carries you floor to floor — but stays sealed while the floor's guardian still breathes. Bypass it with pearls or elytra, and a divine seal hurls you back down.

🗡️ The Blades of Chaos

Your starting panoply is a pair of chained blades worn as one weapon:

Cross-slash (passive) — alternating flaming sweeps that feed your Fury
Chain Throw (right-click) — harpoon a foe and drag it to your feet
Spartan Rage (sneak + right-click, full Fury) — a flame nova and divine wrath: Strength, Speed, fire immunity

Both blades demand both fists: fill your off-hand and you fight at half strength.

🏺 Relics of the fallen

Each god drops their signature relic — thirteen weapons with active powers on real cooldowns: Zeus' thunderbolt, Poseidon's trident, Hades' bident, Artemis' bow with its self-conjured, homing lunar arrows… Collect the whole pantheon, or swear it all away.

🕍 The Sanctuary of Trials

A marble belvedere in the sky where every run begins. Choose before you cross the Gate of Ascension:

Two oaths can reshape your entire run:

⚖️ Oath of the Styx — die once, and everything resets: thirteen gods reborn, clock restarted. Hardcore, the Greek way.
✋ Vow of Asceticism — the gods keep their relics. You climb with your starting gear and nothing else.

A live sidebar tracks your trial, time, tries, deaths and gods slain. Victory ends in a triumph cinematic — and your time on the board. Speedrun it.

☠️ And when you've won…

The Gate will offer you a new ascent — at a price: your spoils stay behind the threshold.

But those who explore the plaza may find a certain dark receptacle the mod will not explain… and learn that the King of the Underworld does not forgive. He does not return alone. 👑🖤

(There are more secrets: fly too close to the sun, die ten deaths, toss gold into the Styx, and mind the sheep.)

📦 Installation

Install Fabric Loader for Minecraft 1.21.11 and Fabric API
Drop the Olympe jar in your mods/ folder — required on both client and server
Create a NEW world (important: the mod replaces overworld generation with its own hand-built map) and let the gods forge it

Fully localized in English and French — the mod follows your game language.

/nv — toggle eternal night vision

Good to know

Keep-inventory is on and death respawns you at the tower's feet: the challenge is the climb, not the corpse run.
The map is protected: no creeper holes, no wither scars.
Works in singleplayer and on dedicated servers.
