Recommended

  • Sodium 0.8.12+ (in-game settings UI, required on client, not needed on dedicated servers)
  • Voxy (render distance integration)
  • Chunky-Offline (keeps Chunky running between world loads in singleplayer)

What it does

Automatically pre-generates chunks around players in expanding spiral rings, re-centers when the player moves, resumes mid-spiral on rejoin, pauses generation when TPS drops, and forces a Voxy LOD rebuild at the start of each bundle. Full breakdown in the README.
