The illagers have a new and shadowy ally...

Description

Important: In a few days I will be updating NeoForge to version 1.21.1 (to add some of the new features I made in the backport for Forge 1.20.1), please be patient.

Years ago... I made a vampire model for Halloween,

I never used it...

until I saw this video and thought it was time to bring it to life!!!

It's a small mod that adds:

Mobs:

Night Bleeder: New member of the illager faction & is undead, close relative of the witch.

It has 50 hit points, 6 damage, and is a undead (so it receives different damage from potions); It can spawn naturally in the world with a very low probability (night).

It also adds vampire bats (minions) that he can summon during combat (these start dying 50 seconds after spawning, similar to Vex, to prevent the world from becoming overrun with them). He only summons them when he's attacking (similar to the Evoker), Additionally, the Night Bleeder becomes invisible for one second when summoning his minions.

The night bleeder takes extra damage from the wooden sword (since its tip is technically like a stake). If he's about to die, he transforms into a bat (Blightwing) to escape, so it's best to kill him with critical hits to ensure a kill.

Every time he hits you or any mob, he heals for health (and can inflict a new effect called "Atrophy," but it won't always infect you; only 30% of his hits will).

It has a "dash" ability, it will either jump on you or suddenly close the distance (but the closest it gets is 3 blocks unless it uses the ability repeatedly, but the probability is very low).

It also burns during the day, but it's smart and hide itself from the sun; When it burns, it panics and starts running frantically to find shade (although its panic decreases if it's fighting).

It has 3 skin variants, and these are retained even after it transforms into a bat and returns to normal.

Upon death (for real), it can drop emeralds (3-5) , cursed tusk (1-2) , and, with a very low probability, a totem.

If you see it with a spyglass, it will become invisible (for now only in Forge version 1.20.1)

It can appear in raids (only in the last waves and in small numbers, a maximum of 2). When it appears in raids, it gains fire resistance for about 15 seconds (to ensure it gets close to the village at least and doesn't start crying from the burns).

New! Vampire Villagers: The villagers are in danger; not only can they be infected by zombies, but wait, it seems these creatures still retain remnants of their humanity.

Are neutral mobs that can appear at night or if a villager dies while infected by atrophy; Just like the villagers, their skin depends on the biome they spawn.

They function similarly to the Night Bleeder, but have less health and damage, cannot summon bats, and their dashes are shorter. You can cure them by feeding them an Immunity Potion or hitting them with an Immunity Arrow (but they don't like it).

Vampire Villagers have a hunger system that determines their aggression. They can calm down by killing a mob or by feeding them a raw beef.

Vampire Villagers have four professions, which you can obtain by giving (block in the hand and right-click) them different blocks:

-Alchemist: Obtained by giving a Vampire Villager a Brewing Stand. They sell alchemy-related items, and as a special trade, they can sell you an Immunity Potion.

-Slaughter: Obtained by giving a Vampire Villager a Smoker. They buy certain Reds food items; as a special trade, can sell you dried meat, a new item for the mod.

-Chronicler: Obtained by giving a vampire villager a Chiseled Bookshelf. Buys items related to writing and history. As a special trade, they can sell you a Cursed Card, a new item for the mod.

-Bard: Obtained by giving a vampire villager a Note Block. Buys music discs. As a special trade, they sell a Lute, a new item for the mod.

effects: It mod adds 2 new types of The effects

Atrophy: The essence of the plague.

This effect is like a nerfed poison, but every time you take damage, there's a chance you'll gain Weakness for 2 seconds (if a mob dies from this effect or while it's active, it transforms into a vampire bat); If a night bleeder bites you while you are infected, the effect can reach level 2, multiplying its negative effects and the damage you receive from it.

Immunity: The cure.

which makes you immune to Atrophy. It can also cure Hunger, Wither, and Poison every 4 seconds (50% chance). The effect lasts quite a while, 10 minutes. Its potion is made with cursed tusk. also every 5 seconds it can restore one heart of hp.

Items:

Cursed Tusk: The main drop of the night bleeder & blightwing.

It allows you to infect mobs with the atrophy effect if you hit them in melee.

is used to make immunity potions and can be sold to cleric villagers.

Also can trade this item with the cleric villager

New! Cursed Card: A magical item, of arcane tarot.

It allows you to dash like a vampire (with right click) and sometimes grants passive speed if you hold it in either hand.

New! Lute: Music often brings calm, regardless of its origin; what matter is that it works.

When used, it will calm nearby mobs (within a 15-block range). If they attack in melee, they will also be unable to damage you for 4 seconds. Additionally, it grants the player who plays the melody night vision for 20 seconds, depending on the number of mobs around. The lute (whether you can see them or not) generates more musical notes.

New! Dried meat: Good food, dubious origin.

This food possesses a remnant of vampiric power. When eaten, it can instantly heal you for 1 to 3 hearts of health (if it is night or there is a full moon, you are more likely to recover more health).

New! Immunity arrow: Homemade arrow injection.

It allows you to can cure any mob of the atrophy effect, it can also cure vampire villagers by shoting them; if you hit a nightbleeder or any other undead, they will burst into flames; It releases yellow particles while in flight; upon landing, if it doesn't hit a mob, it spills some of the potion's liquid.

New! Tusk arrow: It's time to spread the plague.

It allows you to infect other mobs with the atrophy effect by shoting them. It has 2 levels; depending on which one it is, it does more damage and the potency of the atrophy effect will be stronger (but it will last less time); It releases dark red particles while in flight; upon landing, if it doesn't hit a mob, relase smoke particules.

To craft Tusk arrows or inmunity arrows you must use an arrow table and have both materials, one in your left hand and the other in your right (or vice versa).

Tusk arrow craft:

Inmunity arrow craft:

New! Nightfall music disc (by light plague):

The Night Bleeder can drop it if you kill it in one hit by falling with a sledgehammer (in Neo-Forge version 1.21.1) or if you kill it with a wooden sword by falling from a height of more than 10 blocks (in Neo-Forge version 1.20.1).

It has to be during the night. Its the "Night" "Fall"

New! Achievements: Why don't you try a couple of these?

There are a total of 9 achievements (obtainable).

Most are very easy, and the achievement thumbnail offers clues on how to unlock it; The two most difficult are:

- Curiosity over morality (obtain all 4 items sold by the vampire villagers in the mod)
- Night-fall (achievement tied to obtaining the mod's music disc; To do this you must kill a night bleeder with a hit from a mace while falling during the night in 1.21.1 neoforge; If you're on version 1.20.1 forge, you can do it with a wooden sword from more than 10 blocks high.)

This mod is available in Spanish and English.
