-Can spawn up to 4 Torment Tentacles, which deal 6 melee damage and are stationary like the Torment Root
-Can spawn up to 2 Brainlets

+Nexus Hive:
-Once a Nexus Tumor finishes corrupting its surroundings, it dies and creates a Nexus Hive underground if there is enough space
-Nexus Hives have 2 variants: Grand and Small
-Grand Hives are created when there are no Torment Tentacles in a 100×100×100 area
-Small Hives are created when there is at least one Torment Tentacle in that area
-Made of Nericin, Acid Piles, Acid Goo, Nexus Acid, Dripping Nericin, and Dreaded Bone Blocks
-Grand Hives feature Heartlens, Nexium Cores, Hive Blobs, and a Hive Root, which can be used to summon the Torment Root with a Nexium Heart
-Small Hives feature Heartlens and Nexium Cores

+Hive Root:
-A block found in Grand Hives used to summon the Torment Root with a Nexium Heart
-Emits heartbeat sounds

+Nericin:
-A tough material found in Nexus Hives and as part of Nericin Tentacles
-Can be crafted using a Dead Nexus and 8 Nexus Skins
-Can be used to craft Nericin Stairs, Slabs, Walls, Pillars, and Dripping Nericin
-Dripping Nericin is crafted using 4 Nericin and 1 Radiant Ash, and emits falling acid particles when nothing is below it
-Nexus Tentacles in corrupted biomes are now made of Nericin instead of Dead Nexus

+Acid Goo:
-A partially transparent block crafted using 4 Acid Piles
-Found within Nexus Hives

+Nexium Core:

+Nexium:
-A new material obtainable only in Nexus Hives
-Used to craft a Nexium Heart with 3 Nexium and a Heartlen Piece

(Note: the Nexium Tentacle is not consumed when crafting a Nexium Ingot)

+Nexium Ingot:
-Can be used to create Nexium Marks using 2 Nexium Ingots and 7 Cobblestones,
-A Block of Nexium using 9 Nexium Ingots,
-Or to craft Entangled Sticks using a Stick, 2 Vines, Radiant Mushrooms and a Nexium Ingot

+Nexium Mark:
-Prevents Visitors and Infectors from spreading the Nexus in a 60×60×60 area
(Note: Infectors can still spawn Nexus Tumors)
-Also prevents Coarse and Dead Nexus blocks from spreading within a 50×50×50 area

+Heartlen Piece:
-Obtainable by killing Heartlens
-Used to craft a Nexium Heart or to brew Health Boost potions

+2 New Advancements

+Dead End:
-Place a Nexium Mark to stop the Nexus from spreading
