Mod Overview: Steel Innovations

New Materials: Steel & Tinned Steel

• Steel Armor & Weapons

• Aluminized Steel
  With this update, you can upgrade regular Steel into Aluminized Steel using a Forging Upgrade Template and an Aluminum Ingot. Aluminized Steel retains the lightweight benefits of the previous Aluminum material, allowing for faster attack speeds and better enchantability, making it a valuable asset for any adventurer.

• Steel Shields

  In addition to armor and weapons, Steel Shields have been introduced, offering enhanced defense. These shields provide greater protection from incoming attacks, allowing players to block and defend themselves more effectively in battle.

Villager Trading System

A new villager trading system has been implemented, adding depth to your exploration and interaction with villagers. Players can trade copper blocks for steel ingots with specific villagers. This provides an alternative method to acquire steel armor and weapons, reducing reliance on crafting and encouraging more interaction with the game world.

Enchantments

• Sturdy Enchantment
  The Sturdy enchantment has received a significant update. Originally designed to extinguish flames on the player when hit, the Sturdy enchantment now provides a 3-second resistance boost after being attacked. This boost increases by an additional second with each enchantment level, enhancing the player’s survivability in combat.

New Potion: Steel Potion

Crafted with steel fragments, the Steel Potion grants Resistance I for 30 seconds. This provides a much-needed defensive boost, especially during intense combat situations.

New Creature: Steebie

Meet the Steebie, a rare new creature that brings an interesting dynamic to the game. Steebies are passive by nature and won’t attack unless provoked. When threatened, they band together and defend themselves fiercely. Defeating a Steebie may reward you with valuable steel items such as steel armor, steel swords, and steel fragments.
